Hilarious. Allen sucks big time. He can't hold Rosen's jock. Allen has fail written all over him. Happy feet just like Darnold.
-
Rosen is tailor made for Cleveland. He is pure Sheet. Darnold is the guy, and you know damned well he is the guy because he would rather have his nutsack cut off than land in Cleveland. Even a ree-o-tard like Myles Garrett wanted to do his Zumba act somewhere beside Cleveland.
The only thing worse than our coaching staff and FO, are the majority of Browns fans who actually think we are on the right track. I pray that the Browns are moved and er-named. Cleveland doesn't need a football team, and really, cannot support it.
What do you think of my choice, Baker Mayfield from Oklahoma?

Better choice than Rosen. Quick release, and he is a pocket passer.

That's the same "coach's cliches" that Belichick spews every week. You're not going to get a coach to say, "did you see Mixon steamroll Peppers, how can we win when they are better than we are".
For my money when coaches need to be fired is when talent surpasses results. The Jags are stuck with Blake Bortles who is horrible, you can't blame Marrone for not winning with that schit kicker at QB.
Now the Raiders are a good example of a talented team underachieving. I don't watch them so I don't know if it's coaching or not but that is a good example of finding a head coach to make the team better.
1-15, 0-11 Says it all Bacon. Do I think the Browns lack talent? Sure. But it's not 1-26 lacking. Certainly not so lacking we can't even put up a competitive performance against the very mediocre Bengals.

Larry,
you make a good point. This team has more talent than the 1999 squad, and they won more in 2 years than this crap bag. I never liked Hue, never liked Williams. Have no idea why they still have jobs.
Garrett also blows. He has one move, one purpose. He can't do anything else.

Do you even watch Rosen? You just described him with the exception of climbing the pocket and going through progressions in a pro style offense. Allen not very good under pressure when he has played teams like Rosen plays every week. He caves. I've seen 3 of Allen's games and 3 1/2 of Rosens. Rosen is a far better prospect and makes Darnold look like a runner who can't stick around to find a secondary receiver. Darnold needs another year and Allen is a career backup IF he even makes a team.

No idea if this is Ghoolie himself, but i agree with your assessment of Rosen.
Ghoolie has ONE SCREEN NAME......................... I have always had ONE SCREEN NAME................. Ont he rare occassion I have created a parody screen name for one post.........I have ALWAYS made it obvious that it was me, and that it was parody. I don't have to create screen names to agree with me. Most intelligent posters here do so naturally.

Rosen has better players around him than Allen. Mark Sanchez was a world beater at USC and now hes washing jock straps for some NFL team. Everyone is so cayght up in Darnold and Rosen and build them up as cant miss prospects. I say BS and see this same hype every draft.
Allen has all the raw materials to mold on the right team. I would not start him like so many others. He needs to sit and learn for at least 1 year.
Don't act like UCLA is a solid team. Far from it. They fired their coach before the season ended ffs. Usc hasn't had great qb since palmer.
Rosen is excellent. Be nice for the Browns to get a Luck, Mariotta, Goff, or another recent solid qb. Allen? I dunno. Have not seen anything this season yet. Mayfield? Talent is there plus his numbers, but he's in a high scoring conference and that team is totally stacked. Like to see buckeyes get another crack at him
-
That one play against usc where rosen froze a charging edge rusher with a quick fake to give himself an extra split second for a wr to come free........i just havent seen that before. Not even in the pro's i dont think. U have to have a pair of granite balls. No, ballz with a z.

I'd trust a QB from the Pac 12 over the Big 12 any day of the week. What franchise NFL QB's have come out of the Big 12?

Sammy Baugh. Bobby Layne. Uhm well, those may have been from the old Southwest Conference. Since 2000 these have been the QBs from the Big 12 that have had some NFL run:
Josh Freeman
Robert Griffin
Sam Bradford
Brandon Weeden
Colt McCoy
Vince Young
Geno Smith
Seneca Wallace
Andy Dalton
(Patrick Mahomes)
Andy Dalton has been the best of the bunch.

Like Ag, I've watched about three of Allen's games. He gets a big fail in the accuracy department. 55% completions compared to Mayfield's crazy 68%. I have Baker and Rosen way ahead on my list. Plus, you think Allen is going to get a year to sit? Kizer didn't.

Seriously?
Who are the blue chip or decent TEAMS clamoring to go play Wyoming? Allen's schedule is a joke.
ALLEN will be a bust..
FIFY!

-
None. No Big 12 QB has won a playoff game.
Besides Dalton....who has lost an NFL record 4 playoff games without a win.....has any of the others I listed above even started a playoff game?
Edit: In Checking, both Robert Griffin and Vince Young did start playoff games....and both lost.
So...at least since like this century.....Big 12 QBs are at least 0-6 in NFL playoff games.

TaShaun Gipson played at Wyoming....and he, apparently, wasn't good enough for this FO to keep.
But, on your point....I guess the same could be said for North Dakota St. ....where Wentz played. (Isn't that right?). So, we can't discount those guys just because they didn't go to big traditional schools.
