Kenny Britt

The Browns Board

  • He defanatly revived this message board.

  • Don’t get me wrong, Britt sucks, but he’s still one of our top 3 receivers. Stupid move.

We have Coleman and Gordon , after that a bucket of turds. No harm at all in lighting the load of Sheet. Seriously Hue would have cut him months ago if it weren't for Sashi that's obvious. Reasons went well beyond just his play, he was disruptive in team meeting, media sessions and practice. He loaded and danced his way to the unemployment line. This was a Hue move approved by a GM who understood locker room and team dynamics.

^^^The statement above is one of the main problems with the Browns.....acceptance of players who are losers results in a losing Team. We have been willing to accept the unacceptable. Those days may (hopefully) be gone. Cutting Britt is a very positive 1st step.

I really liked how Dorsey said we can get players in here that can compete. Sounds like he knows he needs to get rid of all of the no talent practice squad players like Louis and get actual people who can catch here.

And war, who cares if we release Britt. Obviously you'd said multiple times this season doesn't matter. We'll find a much better replaceable WR next year.

  • The fact that britt got cut like 5m after sashi should clue in all u stupid a ssholes calling for hues job as to how things had been run and how our coach has been saddled with sht he didnt want.

im serious take a step back and analyze what just happened and put it together with the mccarron fiasco. Yes, technically that mccarron deal falling through was prob a good thing.....but u cant blame the coach for desperately wanting ANY qb in town that can win him a game or two and keep his job.

These incidents prove what a disaster these analytics guys were. They set up our new coach to lose by not retaining mccown and saddling the coach with ossweiler as the presumed starter and the 3 stooges as his competition for depth in TC.

This FO was bullsht from the start. They thought cleveland was patient enough to endure the "process" of an analytics rebuild. But no coach could last. This was rigged and now we might be back to swuare one with the qb situation. 2 years in and we're looking at drafting a rookie we prob need to sit for a year even if its rosen.

How many former GMs (in Cleveland)  have you heard talking just like him.  I'll wait for his performance before I give credit.  Of course, he's walking in with a better team than the past.  Youngest team in the NFL with talent and a great draft.

You could have done that more succinctly and less annoyingly:

That song was the first thing that came to my head.

I'm looking forward to do the same stuff you do but with more modern music, hehehe.

How many GM's came here after assembling a playoff caliber team in another place though post 1999?

How many of them had young talent like us and a draft like us?

    2 - 1st round picks

    2 - second round picks

    3 - 3 third round picks.

And don't forget 1st or 2nd youngest team in the league. (oh did I mention talent?)

No, not talking about positions.  Talking about Garrett, Njoku, Coleman, Devalve, Duke Johnson, Ogbah, Peppers, Shelton.  You might look at these guys and say they're not that good, but other teams might give their left #@t for them.  Sashi never went for that QB and WR.  Hopefully, the new GM will and I assume he will.

lmao....no, most of those guys teams would not give up much if anything for.  A couple in particular represent very bad misses onsashi's part.

and yes, sashi sure as hell did go for wide recievers.  He wasted a middle of the first round draft pick on one, and then signed another to a good bit of guaranteed money.  He went after the position, but just failed miserably.

The only WR he went for was Coleman and there were better ones on the table.  He passed on Wentz and Goff.  The other WR he went for was Higgins and Louis.  I can promise most of the guys i listed in a few years will good players.  2 or 3 years, they will come into their own.

Yet the brilliant FO that you defend so blindly drafted 4 WRs, signed Britt and released Gabriel, all which were supposed to fix the WR courp....... Must have been someone else's fault I guess, and I can't wait to hear who's it is..... us fans probably by posting mean things about the WR's performance.

It helps us by cutting our losses and getting rid of a locker room cancer. Britt wasn't good for coleman, or gordon to be around. He's a slacker, and didn't contribute a thing. Don't forget TO and Chad Johnson both had mad skillz but someone didn't even want them because of their attitude. Kenny didn't even have near those kinda skills, and he's lazy.

Bill B would cut a player by being lazy or f#$%ing up, and could literally replace him with a person off the street. I'm sure some hungry kid could do just as good as Kenny can. Just face it, Kenny Bowe'd us to the max.

Please post quotes of you angry about Gabriel getting cut when it happened. I'll wait.

I don't mind missing on all the receivers (though Coleman is still very much TBD) when Sashi hit on almost everyone else.

We didn't cut our losses though. His salary was guaranteed for the year. Locker room cancer--I'm guessing that's getting very much blown out of proportion.

Idk man, Kenny's agent made fun of Hue right after the cut. As funny as it was, it's still kind of classless. Kenny complained about london and rented a luxury car and went off with coleman. Kenny played horrible. You can't expect a "winning" culture when people are half assing everything. I defended Kenny for weeks, but he's lazy and just wanted his payday. The team is better off without him.

  • I do not at all remember you defending Kenny for weeks either.

I went on and on about how I loved him in Tennessee and saw him play live for the Rams last season, and that if he’s healthy he can be a machine. After the first four weeks I said he had a slow start and would turn it around. At the London game, that’s when I finally gave up on him, weeks after. Remember that time you were wrong about the process? 😆
