Mickey Mouse is rumored to take over the clown show and has proposed Mini Mouse as his new DC. In a comment about her capabilities Mickey said, "Anyone who can maintain her virginity for oh so many years now, can certainly defend a goal line in Cleveland for God's sake."

Apparently Dee...... Now we can look forward to cementing our new found record of futility, and setting the bar so low that no team will ever approach it........ Happy New Year!!!!
So we draft a QB #1, get a free agent veteran QB and a couple of other picks. Hue still the coach. Maybe an OC. Maybe 4 wins max.

With Hue as coach 0-16 again

Yep, that would be one hell of a dream season with Huey at the helm.

No, I do not.
The only reason why Jimmy was a FA is because Brady shows no signs of slowing down. Jimmy was tired of waiting even though NE had every intention on having him be the heir apparent. The Browns are win less even though they have a decent team, but you still kept that 1st rounder so youre winners in that regard, right?
Well, no, because you still have to go out and select a QB in this draft.
Well, yes... because we have two first-rounders and no QB instead of one 1st and no QB... unless your plan was to tag Jimmy after a few games. No better way to cement a relationship... just ask WSH.
As for the Pats... you have to know they have their next QB is right around the corner. Might even use their #1 on a QB for a change.

Chuck Pagano has been fired by the Colts.
One old name mentioned in the article... Flipper. He's expected to get a look for the CHI HC job.

With one former #Browns coach - Pat Shurmur - getting an interview with the #Lions, it reminds me of another: Mike Pettine spent the year consulting for the #Seahawks & learning a new system. He will be a top DC candidate.

The coaching management in the NFL is so unbelievably stupid. The college football and NFL styles should change. It makes sense for a guy in the NFL to take 4 years to win a championship because there is so much parity. In college, the standard is to give a guy 4 years minimum even though the big schools can make a team in 2 years or less (see Meyer, Smart, Saban, Herman at Houston relative to their competition, etc.).
Really hope the needle moves away from this. Some of the firings that went down today were idiotic.

Ted Thompson no longer the Packers GM.
Oh and Hue Jackson is still the Browns head coach.

The one firing that might have made sense didn't happen.

Perhaps their strength and conditioning guy in Green Bay needs to be fired.
The Packers every year seem to have a TON of injuries.

Good for Pett, he was thrown under the bus by those above him. He didn’t help himself with O’Neil business but he deserved better than he got.
