Most Likely to Bust

"so why is it that every time Boo says something positive about Allen, you have to jump in and go negative?"
-
Braylon Edwards does not deserve to be mentioned with these guys. 5,000 yards, 40 TDs and a Pro Bowl ... disappointment, but not a bust on the level of the rest.
Mingo was not drafted to play DL.

OK....who would you name the award after? A non-Brown, like Charles Rogers?
And what DL should the Award be named after? Small Change Warren? Wimbley?

This statement by Texas Ag in another thread tweeked my attention:
I can see this nightmare scenario playing out for the hapless Browns draft gurus. Somehow we end up with Barkley and Allen, the two most likely to bust in their respective positions.
Barkley and Allen would be a home run draft

See the title and the OP of this thread. If you didn't think Allen's name was not going to come up....you were deluding yourself.

Oh. Okay.
https://thebiglead.com/2018/01/03/anonymous-sources-josh-rosen-comparisons-character/
According to sources who have spoken with people close to Rosen, he has been focused since high school on using football to make money and support the type of lifestyle he wants. He’s OK with challenging the system and being a mouthpiece for divisiveness because he appreciates the attention it draws.
His talent might overrule his non-football concerns, and he’ll likely still be highly valued, but NFL teams will certainly care about this. They don’t want another Robert Griffin III-type personality. Two teams to watch in a possible Rosen trade-up are the Bills and Chargers.

And Cal needs to lighten up. Anything negative about Allen HAS to be followed up by something negative about Rosen- even if I'm just having some fun in the first place.

OK...so let's ignore the part about it being the Browns......so, just generally....who do you think are the most likely to bust from this upcoming draft class at various positions:
The Brady Quinn/Brandon Weeden/John P. Manziel Award at QB goes to:
The Trent Richardson Award at RB goes to:
The /Willis Adams award at WR/TE goes to:
The Cameron Erving Award at OL goes to:
The Courtney Brown Award at DLine goes to:
The Mike Junkin/Clifford Charlton/Craig Powell Award at LB goes to:
The Justin Gilbert Award at DB goes to:

Ag says Allen...who am I to disagree? But...it will probably be whomever the Browns take. Fair to say?

The Braylon Edwards/Willis Adams award at WR/TE goes to:
Calvin Ridley has been said to have had a bad Combine....I guess that is one reason to give him a vote.
The Cameron Erving Award at OL goes to:
Orlando Brown Jr. seems to be everyone's candidate.
The Barkevious Mingo Award at DLine goes to:
Marcus Davenport DE, Texas San Antonio.....just because I have to give shite to San Antonio players...where my daughter lives
The Mike Junkin/Clifford Charlton/Craig Powell Award at LB goes to:
Roquon Smith. Georgia
The Justin Gilbert Award at DB goes to:
Derwin James or Minkah Fitzpatrick.....like I said...whomever the Browns pick.

Predictable as the sun rising in the east.
But...to be fair...that is what he has said all along....and his opinion there was invited by this thread.

Wimbley not a DL either.
Willis Adams was good ... Lawyer Tillman?
DL ... Courtney Brown is an easy one.

Stepping into the real world. His stock seems to have sky rocketed after the interviews at the combine.

A triple double
If you want to go with the basketball analogy- Barkley is no LeBron, and Allen is another Danny Ferry..

Good point.
All Barkley and Allen need to do is their jobs along with the other 51 guys. No need to carry the team like James, Shaq or Jordan. The Eagles didnt fold tent when Wentz went down.

Mel Kiper? say, here's his mock draft 2.0.
Still has Josh Allen going #1 to the Browns.
Rosen falls out of the top ten, to Miami. I think that is how it will play out.
Unless Rosen falls to 22. Kinda doubtful, though. Unless he slips and falls, and gets
a concussion from hitting his ping pong table which replaced his hot tub.....

Allen is going be a stud.
I believe that Barkley will be gone by 4 but Dorsey seems to have an eye for RBs.

Some of us anticipate boo, PoG and you and go negative before you can all chime in positive. LOL!

Whats going to happen when the Browns take Allen?
This place will blow up and you all will go Ghoolie. Im going to laugh because Allen is right pick.

Wouldn't shock me if the Browns do pick Allen.
The Browns haven't gone a generation without a playoff win by accident.

The concern for rosen is, since Miami needs a qb, a pass rusher and an OT... they could trade out of that spot with Buffalo,
pick up both an OT and a qb, either Mason Rudolph, if Buffalo picked Rosen, or Buffalo picks Rudolph, and Miami
picks Rosen and an OT/pass rusher with their other pick. Rosen could fall all the way down to the twenties. Seems that nobody is predicted to be drafting a qb from 12 to 20.

Josh Allen is being drafted two days early
The Cameron Erving Award at OL goes to:
Orlando Brown
