  • Free Agency is about to hit.

    Teams that want to push to the front of the pack- need to strike early. Prepare for FA. Teams have lots of salaries on the books and it could cause slowdown when FA starts. 

    Cutting players or better, trading players and making moves before it starts gives you a clearer picture of how best to work into the draft strategy. 

    We've got some Green Bay ties in the FO now... actually, lot more guys that know a guy.

    Sashi was good with the numbers and acquiring capital, now it's time to put those to use and make smart football decisions.

    Browns got Landry, tyrod and a useless cb. They better hope they win 5 games or hue and Co are gone, they’ll waste landry’s And Gordon’s best years. Darnold will be in kizers shoes like last year and rinse and repeat for a new franchise qb

    Browns got Jarvis Landry, a 2nd round pick from 2014, he's been at Miami and been healthy and productive. 400 catches 4000 yards.

    I feel the same but look at it this way... He's better than Kizer... and he'll have Saquon, Gordon, Landry, Coleman, Njoku and Duke Johnson.

    Not that I’m a huge fan of Tyrod, but I think he’s decent. Sammy Watkins on the other hand.... Id rather have Gordon OR Landry

    Seems like Sammy is about to be a FA since he couldn't do it with Goff either. I loved Watkins coming out of Clemson but he has been a disappointment. And you act like tyrod is the franchise QB, he is just keeping the seat warm and he is an upgrade over Kizer.

  • Keeps the seat warm yes but I’d like to have more than 5 wins. Darnold is 20. If he fizzles. That’s a lot of wasted talent.

    Well.... we couldn’t land Rodgers or Brees. Brady even said no.

    Bad example.  Sammy Watkins has been a woefully underperforming player ever since he entered the league.  Can't stay on the field, not very good when he is on the field.  He was fourth on the Rams in catches this year (a whopping 39) despite playing on one of the NFL's most explosive offenses.

    After Cousins, Tyrod was the best FA quarterback available.  Tyrod only threw four picks last year (14 TDs) and six the year before (17 TDs).  I like that he takes care of the ball, a big difference from what the Browns had this year.  A real nice get by Dorsey that will help make the Browns much more competitive this season.

  • Never before they got Landry. Gordon Landry and Coleman would be better weapons than cousins has had in his career and better than any wr on the broncos jets or vikes

    "Average" is a lot better than the Browns have had under center for the last decade.  A good get by Dorsey.

    Plueeeezzzeeee, Taylor is slated to make $10 million, about 1\3 of what Cousins is going to get. He's got one year left on his deal. Classic game manager, and has some wheels that will make Hueless happy.
