I really don't (have much of) a problem taking Saquon at #4. Though the clip of him getting trucked in the OSU game was an eye-opener of what he's going to be facing when he runs into Bosa or Mack. Did like your Deep Dive on the running backs- and it confirmed what everyone's been saying for weeks- getting sandwiched multiple plays between one long run is not very efficient running. LOL, you don't draft a kick returner in the top five either.
I'd much rather go Fitzpatrick\Chubb at #4 and Take our running back like Guice or Michel (or whoever's left) at the top of the second....

Tyrod is a veteran player who has had some success. Protect the ball, limit turnovers, run Saquon and take what the defense is going to give us. I believe they will have to pick their poison with Saquon, Gordon and Landry... not to mention Njoku and Coleman, and others as well...
Many franchise QBs have been found outside the Top 3 picks, it won't be the end of the world if we wait until 4 to take our QB, one that we won't have to start right away, we have the ability to sit him for a season or two and develop him the right way. But, say #4 pans out and blows Tyrod and Hogan out of the water- by all means, it's a good problem to have.

Yep...we are drafting a QB at #1 like 99% of this board has been saying since the season ended (or earlier). It's only the stupid or the trolls who have been thinking that anything else was in play at #1. The signing of Hyde pretty much guaranteed that the Browns won't be taking a RB at 1 or 4 but the retarded continued to say that it doesn't mean anything and you can put a $5 mil per year guy sitting on the bench gettting 8 carries a game. But only someone who was a troll or stupid would really believe that.
QB at 1 (likely Darnold) and then it could be a trade down at 4, or it's going to defense at 4 I think.

What's even more funny is that some of you guys think that with 4 solid QBs- Rosen, Allen, Darnold and Mayfield, that somehow we're scraping up the leftovers with the 4th pick! That's Shmucking HILARIOUS... We're getting a fine QB at four- what's even better is giving that QB an outlet in Barkley where they aren't going to be the main focus. That is going to be the most successful strategy this draft.
You seem to think that we must take the first QB off the board- just to make yourself feel better to be able to say that you took the first QB off the board- but what if he doesn't play better than the other 4 guys that you passed on? ... it's going to get ugly. But I promise you, whatever QB we take will play better with Barkley in the backfield.
If you absolutely must have the piece of mind of drafting the first QB, just for the sake of taking the first QB... You draft Barkley #1 taking him out of the discussion at #2, with Barkley out of the equation this allows NY to trade back to 4- where they could take a QB, take Nelson or a different player, or trade back again for even more picks.
And EVEN IF NY WON'T TRADE BACK- I'm just fine with any one of these QBs. Mayfield, Allen, Darnold or Rosen. Whatever. After watching Kizer all year, I'm fine with any of these guys. Like I said, they aren't helping us at all next year and it's STUPID to go 0-16 and say pass on Barkley with a straight face. Maybe the dumbest shitfaced comments I've ever read.
