Kevin Hogan Traded
-
It was obvious he had no future here. They traded for TieRod. They signed Stanton. They're going to draft the future QB. Where was that going to leave him? He absolutely should request a trade......or to be released.
I get the Tyrod Taylor signing. He's won more games but that's because he's actually been allowed to play. Hogan said last season that he saw things during the Texan's game that he hadn't seen before. He just has to get some real game experience and have somebody to throw to that would actually start for any other team in the league outside of David Njoku as a rookie.
But, it's cool. If Cleveland is blind enough to overlook Hogan's potential, given the QB hellhole we've been in for the last 20 years... Good for him- let him leave, they deserve every last punchline they'll inevitably receive.
Thanks to h's use of a quote I got to see Phoolie's one, pure football post for the year. Even as flawed as it was, I can still check that one off the list.
If Cleveland is blind enough to overlook Hogan's potential...
Not just CLE, but the entire world...
I'll be shocked if a trade partner is found by Hogan's agents, but there could be someone at the end of the waiver wire lineup that'd be willing to give up a 2020, provisional, 7th rounder, I guess.

Correct.
If he had real potential in this current quarterback drought teams would be making inquiries -or- are do ALL of the other 31 teams and their advisors hoping to grab him as a FA or whatever!
The draft will be here in 21 days we will find out what happens with Hogan.....and the XFL is just around the corner.

Well I always like Kevin Hogan. But the writing's on the wall they have a veteran that's had some success a mentor and they're going to take who they think is the best prospect in the draft.
That doesn't leave a lot of room for the fourth guy. Hope he does well wherever he goes.

Ditto Steve- I wish him well wherever he winds up. If he plays his cards right, he could be a long term backup in the league- like Colt McCoy. Honestly, Kev may not even be as good as Colt. It's just Po's creepy obsession with him that's disturbing. When he compared him to Joe Flacco- there's something wrong there.

He will leave knowing Poetic was one of Hogans Heroes for the way he talked him up on this board

I don't think anyone on this board has anything against Kevin Hogan, like no one on here has anything against Josh Allen personally.
But when both of their cheerleader's are such clueless, annoying twits... well...

BYE FELICIA!

Kevin Hogan traded to Redskins
He's worth moving up 17 spots in the 6th rd

Have we checked in on POG? Anyone?

Not sure if I under or over estimated his value...

He'd have been cut & we moved up 17 spots in the 6th round. We got somethin' for nothin', so I can't complain. I'm somewhat surprised we had a taker this soon after putting him on the trading block.

Good Luck Hogan!
I think Washington has a great QB room now.
Alex Smith, Colt McCoy and Kevin Hogan. That is a really good room. I think that Hogan is the perfect blend of Smith and McCoy. I'll always be a big Colt McCoy fan. Damn, we could have had that room. I'd be happy with Hogan/Colt/Draftpick - We could have won some games if we built up the team around them.

I'm getting the feeling that Dorsey wasn't impressed with the QB room that Sashi and Hue put together...

That is the understatement of the year thus far. You just moved into first place.
