yeah, but obaMao was a commie-mentored, socialist professor favoring, radical leftwing racist sombeitch who wanted to undermine who we are as a free country.

Trump is not perfect, but he wants to MAGA.

Every president has probably thought they were making things better. I doubt any of them go into it thinking they are gonna screw things up. I have a load of doubts about Trump. He is pro 2A which is one of the few things I can align with the guy on. Everything else is a circus. I can’t stand a thin skinned cry baby.

Well when you're referring to fiscal incompetence, Obama IS the benchmark. Establishing a president that sucks has been pretty much the norm during my lifetime. There were a couple that were worse than Obama that come to mind, like Jimmy Carter, and Gerald Ford.

Actually policy-wise I don't see much problem.  If the Republicans could hold together like the Democrats I think we'd be further along. On the other hand he is something of an a-hole.

Of course no matter what he says, does or proposes it's going to go through the Beltline of the mainstream media and come out smelling like shite.

Which of the policies or policy proposals do you find to be troubling? Tax cuts? Deregulation? Crackdown on illegal immigration? Support of the Second Amendment? Personally I don't like the budget compromise but imagine that he'd held firm and we close down the government. Imagine The Wailing and gnashing of teeth then.

No president is going to do what needs to be done on the budget so they are all guilty in that regard. He talked a big game but just cut taxes and didn’t do anything to try and tighten the belt. So less money is coming in and the money going out stayed the same. Tax cuts personally are nice for the short term but I am in my 30s. At some point, my generation will get left holding the bag of dog Sheet.

The border wall has been one giant joke. Trump lacks any sense so he blabbed that horse crap about the Mexicans being the one who will pay for it because he knew the price tag would be absurd. Well, there was no chance of Mexico paying for that. Sell the idea of the tax payer funded wall. Don’t tell Paul Bunyan tall tales to try and get the public to be on board.

This cowering in front of Putin then trying to squirm out of having done it is just the latest gripe I have with the guy.

Before the usual suspects go “buh buh Hillary/Obama”, they were awful too. The American public got two garbage candidates to choose from. Everyone should have had to hold their nose. That doesn’t mean the least stinky dumpster all of a sudden became something other than a stinky dumpster.

That last part isn’t directed at you, Steve. You are generally pretty pragmatic. I just hate the current cult mentality that American politics is going through.

That doesn’t absolve the current President from taking shots because another President did a terrible job. Accountability shouldn’t take a day off.

that's a fact and I said as much. More than him though I blame the Republican Congress who could have held firm and forced necessary change at the beginning of the administration. By then the Democrats and the lefties would have had a long time to bitch and their message would have evaporated

The border wall has been one giant joke.                I've said before I think the border wall is a stupid idea but I've also said that I believe it's a chip to be played rather than something somebody really believes in. Kind of like the Star Wars program forcing the rusty to build up their defenses against something we never really thought it was going to work.

This cowering in front of Putin then trying to squirm out of having done it is just the latest gripe I have with the guy.

and I don't think there was any cowering in front of Putin. As I've said before when Trump is bombastic people bitch. When he's not bombastic now people bitch. I've stated my opinion on the so-called Russian meddling. We have been harsher toward the Russians that any previous administration at people are mad because Trump didn't flipp Putin the bird.

Before the usual suspects go “buh buh Hillary/Obama”, they were awful too. The American public got two garbage candidates to choose from. Everyone should have had to hold their nose.                yes of course everybody does it but that's the reason I'm pissed about the budget. They had a chance and they blew it. there will probably never be a three-point power play again.

That last part isn’t directed at you, Steve. You are generally pretty pragmatic. I just hate the current cult mentality that American politics is going through.

unfortunately I wouldn't predict it was going to get any better in the future. The sides hate each other, to an extent not seen since the Nixon Administration.

Your right it doesn't, the list of Presidents who's guilty of contributing to the national deficit is a long one...going back 70 years.
