I don't think we have Louis anymore.   Was he waived...or put on IR?

i'm not gonna take a dump on Dorsey for using a late pick on a kid like this I really do not understand your whole "looking like a butt thing" he swung for the fences and missed, get over it

Productive and solid players can be found in the 4th.  Hell, Antonio was taken just outside of the top 100 players...        Just to remind you, this kid failed a Shmucking test AT THE COMBINE.

So how do you not understand my point?

    I understand that calloway is a dumb A$$ it doe's not define Dorsey's job as a G.M

According to 92.3 the fan he was cited.

This report also says he was cited:http://www.cleveland19.com/story/38832276/cleveland-browns-rookie-antonio-callaway-cited-for-marijuana-possession

So....OK people, lets not get your panties in too much of a bunch.

The consequences of a marijuana possession citation are a maximum $150.00 fine and costs....plus, in most courts it requires a driver's license suspension.  (the suspension is just one of those idiotic....and unreasonable draconian leftover punishments which basically the legislature says: we don't want to punish you....but we really want to punish you.).   The suspension is far more of a detriment than the fines and costs, obviously.   Of course, I understand that his license was already suspended.....so he will likely get a far more severe actual penalty for driving under a suspended license than he will for to possession charge.

But, as we all know....the REAL issue is not the legal issue.   Tony Callaway could afford a $150  fine every single day and it would not hurt him.   It is, of course, the way his employer handles these things.   Drug suspension for him etc.

But here is another clue:   What would you wager that after the next collective bargaining agreement that the NFL will not even test for MJ...and will not suspend anyone for MJ use....that it will become a complete non issue soon.

When does this collective bargaining agreeement end?

    I believe in 2020

  • This is another blunder in the history of blunders that is Cleveland..

We trade our 2016 1st rounder for a conditional butt phuck pick in the next decade, and not even two days later our starting WR gets cited for pot possession..

This is going to be so funny to watch on Hard Knocks..

That's what your mother said when I blew my nasty up her assy

  • Note the below map.  Seven NFL teams are located in states where marijuana use, even recreational use, is completely allowed.  the Teams in Seattle, Oakland (and also when they move to Vegas)  San Fran,  LA Rams, LA Chargers, Denver Broncos, and New England Patriots.

Had Callaway played for any of these teams, he would not have even been cited.    Fourteen other NFL teams play in states where medical marijuana use is permitted.  And, it is projected that by about 2020 or 2021 all of the following states will have full legal marijuana laws:  Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island. (another 10 NFL teams?)

As I said above, MJ testing, suspension for MJ use etc.....will no longer be a part of the NFL existence after the next collective bargaining agreement

All those states in light green/dark green are living in the 21st century..

I was just in Colorado for 5 days.. Amazing weed, the mountains are gorgeous, the economy is booming.

    Best state in America!

None of this excuse the fact Calloway in in Ohio where recreational use is illegal or the fact its use is prohibited per the CBA. This is all on Callaway. In addition he was driving on a suspended license. One would have thought we would have had a baby sitter on this guy.

That said you raise an interesting point. If he had been in one of those states and not cited neither the team or the NFL would know. HOWEVER he is already in the protocol and surely would have failed a test soon.

  • This knucklehead didn’t play the entire last year he was in college.  Has a diluted sample at the combine. Slides all the way to the 4 th round and STILL gets popped for weed

Typical of the Browns to draft him

  • This is just too believable.

......and somebody who supposedly knows somebody called The Fan today and said that Gordon will eventually be suspended for 8 games.  -  Take that with a grain of salt...but it sounds about right....or wrong, in that he would more probably be suspended indefinitely.

  • Hearing Browns may have renewed interest in former Cincy WR Brandon LaFell.

  • diesnt matter if weed is rec in several states, if u ingest marijuana in said states ur still going to piss hot for 30 days. Thats why weed is such a goat fuk for athletes, it hangs around long after it got u high.

  • Who else wants to keep all the players in a fridge until the season begins so no one fu*ks it up anymore with an injury or a silly suspension?

It's going to be a long August.
