Your posts are starting to rival Ghoolies

Couldn’t care less and I’m laughing at how butt hurt you are about 3.5 ypc.

He is playing and this comment makes no sense.  What is the issue with bringing along the rookie to have a more complete game?

Hyde's contract isn't substantial at all and this team can certainly afford it.

Drafted at 35 and you make it sound like Chubb was taken at a Fournette level pick.   But this contradicts your "long term position".  More carries = less career time.

I think you're just talking out of your butt at this point.

P.S.  Fournette that I'm comparing averaged 3.7 ypc before he went down and 3.8 all of last year on an interior gap scheme, run first offense.

So you're saying you would be laughing about this team giving up Fournette if we had him?

Hyde is five years older than Fournette ?

  • YES!! I have Hyde, Duke and Landry on one FL team......finally some direction! And I almost cut Duke.

Fournette was ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans, and reports have said he could be out until Week 10. It’s not a great sign for Fournette’s return date that the Jaguars just traded a draft pick for an established running back who is in the first year of a three-year, $15.25 million deal.

Browns needed to get Nick Chubb more playing time

Chubb is the Browns’ most talented running back, but his playing time was limited. The trade should clear things up in the Cleveland backfield.

Chubb’s breakout game came against the Raiders, when he had 105 yards and two touchdowns on just three carries. He hasn’t had more than three carries in a game yet this season. That will change very soon........

    IDGAF.

If that's where you're going to take it then shouldn't Fournette have a significantly higher average?

Oh wait, now you realize your argument being flipped on you is pretty easy when you used YPC for foundation.

Go on, I'm waiting for you to answer my question.  Would you be cool with this team getting rid of Fournette in this case?

  • Relax boys it's a strategy. We are stockpiling 5th round draft choices starting today!

    WSS

  • so who is on are practice squad if any

  • Dorsey probably knows Hue isn’t going to use Chubb as long as a veteran is around. Forced his hand.

Preparing for next year without Hue hopefully.

    We can only hope.

They promoted Dontrell Hilliard from the ps last week.

  • This had better be followed up by getting a new receiver. Otherwise I think it's a needless gamble.

    Thinking the same way.

  • Maybe getting some ammo to pull off a trade for a WR.

  • This strikes me as a move made by a GM who knows the current coaching staff isn't going to be here next season, and he could not give a flying fudge (but I didn't say fudge) about what they want or their feelings. He's going to get who he wants on the field now.

  • This also clears a roster spot

    Bring back cajuste

  • fukking Retarded trading ur grinder for a 5th. Hyde has been our workhorse. chubb needs time. Yesterday obe could argue this team had the best RB room ib the NFL. And today we dont. So god damn fukking stupid to do this now.

y'all can count on a thread im gonna make later this season when chibb gets dinged and this rerarded fukking kunt of an organization starts asking duke to do all the heavy lifting.....possibly getting him long term injured.

If this trade blows up in tbe browns face u can almoat guarantee we'll start to hear grumbling out of baker too cause they kunt swapped his stud backfield. Once baker has zero run game to rely on and teams just pin the ears back and come after him......well, baker was nice while it lasted. A couple feely good games, thanks jimmy...thanks dorsey. Now lets get baxk to talking about the #1 pick

A young WR off a practice squad somewhere?

Some close to Browns saying Chubb was earmarked for a much larger role from here on out so they got something for Hyde before his value became zero

Like you... I just feel like Hue is bench warmer... .. I just hope doesn't start his back stabbing Sheet again...

  • again, expanding chubbs touches doesnt mean having to trade the guy that got u 3 yds when u needed it. Im not sure chubb can get those tough interior yds like hyde does. They were pretty good comolinents to each other. and one was pretty good at guarding the young qb while the other might get him killed

Ya or it gives Hue another excuse for Jimmah.

“He trades my starting veteran running back mid season for a 5th round pick”

Not to mention Dorsey signed Hyde. So he’s using the Vet he signed at RB... just like he was using the QB vet he signed

I don’t know. Hopefully they are taking the payroll of a player they don’t really need and signing a WR or some LB depth...
