You'd love Houston's DT Oliver. Raised by a wrangler (horses) and he himself is considered a horse whisperer. Must have gotten all those muscles tossing hay as a little biddy baby. I had a good friend in Wyoming who had the strongest upper body of anyone I ever knew. He was raised on a 12,000 acre cattle ranch and could flip a calf and quick tie the feet for branding like anyone else would straighten pillows on a bed. Zero effort involved.

Strongly disagree. I love the LBers in this draft. If you are giving up future picks it better be for an impact player and LBers just aren't that valuable.

What? Based on what exactly? Linebackers are extremely important. The entire steeler defense suffered when shazier got hurt and Bush is 100% an impact player. I could put together a 20+ player list in 2 minutes of impact players just at the linebacker position currently on n the league.

What I was saying is that off ball LBers are like interior offensive lineman. As long as they play their role you dont need a superstar. The difference between Kuechly and Shobert are obvious, yet I dont see Kuechly making the defense that much better. Compare that to Aaron Donald vs Larry Ogunjobi and the impact that has on a defense

    You are heinously wrong.

    You steal my edibles MF?

  • Daniel Jeremiah says that the best pick of the draft had to be Pitt moving up to take Devin Bush who was 1A & 1B with Devin White as top LB in the draft. So there is that opinion from the guy I most respect when it comes to the draft (and for agreeing with me LOL!).?

  • The top overall defenses last year were Baltimore, New England, Chicago, New Orleans, and The rams.

These are the top LBers from those teams.

    Mosely- good/elite

Hightower- good (more of a pass rusher)

    Roquan Smith- above average

    Demario Davis- average

    Cory Littleton- Special teamer

You dont need a great LBer to have a great defense. DLine and secondary far more valuable so like I said get LBers that do their jobs and invest in impact guys to rush the passer and cover receivers

  • DK Metcalf no matter what.

  • A bunch of my BB picks are going tonight. I got a few steals in later rounds that will go before the 3rd is done.

  • Well my 2 favorite are off the board. Love, adderley, or Gardener-Johnson better make it to us

edit:  PPG makes your argument look even more silly with the top 10.   All of those teams have some quality LB's.

  • Googled top defenses and NFL.com had them as the top overall. Seattle and Carolina aren't top 10 and they have the 2 best LBers in the league.

I'm still waiting for you to make a point that leads to proving that linebackers are somehow of a diminished value...?    You could stick Patrick Fucking Willis on the Browns defense mid 2000's.   He'll still be a badass, but the defense overall will suck because of the unit around him.        One man can't do it all but good linebackers hold together a defense.   Just ask Cincy.

  • Surely its time to pull the trigger and trade up for greedy?

Greedy is falling further and further.

The NFL is passing league so LBers are diminished value there is no debate. You dont need a Patrick Willis anymore. The Bill's had the #2 d according to your list and their best LBer is lorenzo Alexander

He has potential but he is a kind of soft. If we dont land Love Moreland from James Madison is my next target at CB

PPG...    Out of that list you have Roquan, Trevaithan (pretty good),  Mosely, Woodyard, Jack, Smith, Jaylon, Vander, Hightower, Barr and Bulter.

That's a pretty solid list of names there.

  • I knew the Broncos were gonna find a way to get him (Lock) after they traded down with the idiot Giants.

  • Someone's gonna look at us an think they gonna take greedy and jump us... We need to make a move
