I already explained this dip shit but apparently you can't read. I don't spend that much time here nickers.

"he doesn't like cheerios for breakfast, and I list that as a character concern". LOL

moron. On one play, he was on coverage, recogized the run, avoided the block by the wr, and went for the tackle, except the wr blocked him in the back and he still nearly got there.

He didn't have to tackle much, veg, but you're a squealer fan, that means nothing around here.

They are fine disagreeing with me, I could be wrong, just my opinion, but you are still a dickhead squealer squid. Although, I met a steeler fan yesterday - at the grocery, he said "How about your Browns !" we had a great conversation.

He says when Brown up and left, that was a sign that all is not well in Pittsburg, said that he and his son have barfsonhisbooger tshirts but barfs is such an ASS, they think they'll throw them away. He said the time Barf was on his motorcycle, and flipped off the police...

that was the end of rooting for him. Said the Browns may very well win the division, the steelers are going to have tough time.

Real good guy. Not like you - you always were a dickhead.

And, btw, I don't have time to watch whole game films, i'm making dandelion, blackberry jam in the kitchen, and a bunch of other stuff.

(did I mention that you are a dickhead?) LOL

I hear ya. At the same time.... if ol’ Vag has the balls to stick around if/when the Browns start beating the shit out of the Squeelers on the reg, good on him.

This is a bunch of nonsensical bullshit. Similar to the bs you spew over on the political board. If I'm a dick head you are a mouth breather with sub standard intellect.

You all are still going to lose to the steelers. I can't wait until the Browns have to start paying their roster once some of those rookie contracts go away. Have fun!

which means you keep bringing it up because you are the one with a lower IQ while being an arrogant dickhead. Is barfsonhisbooger your boyfriend, or what?

wait, I don't really want to know. Never mind. I have fun meeting steeler fans anywhere - except for you giving steeler fans a bad name.

I think the concerns if you will are all totally football. If someone is felt to be weak on the run that will drop his football value. If he’s tackling is questionable that will drop his football value. I think that is all that we are seeing here but as I said many or most cornerbacks have similar concerns.

He is an unwilling participant in run support and that is listed as a character concern. He "lacks the character" to get his hands dirty and make hard tackles. He's also listed as a "ankle biter" from more than just Walter football who I don't care for much myself but they are recognizable name. I could link a bunch of stuff from scouts that follow the steelers from months before the draft but some of you despite the dates I'd link would call it "hate" or a negative bias. Your ignorance is beginning to know no bounds. But that measures then you have serious character concerns but all evidence in your participation on this board. So what kind of therapy and treatment are you doing for your character concerns

  • Been through the Miami game, SEL game and now onto the Auburn game.   Wouldn't call Greedy and "unwilling" tackler.    But like I said before, it's going to be important for him to put on some upper body strength and to work on his form a bit.   There are times where he goes for the legs and it reminds me of Antoine Winfield in the technique.   Other times? Not so much.

That being said - for anybody wondering how our safety situation will roll for the next year, this Delpit kid from LSU flashes off the screen when I'm watching GW and he reminds me of Jamal Adams.

Winfield was one of the best tackling cornerbacks in the NFL history.

He was, and his ability to pick an ankle was incredible when he wasn't throwing down form tackles.

You tend to not get along with others. That is apparently why you come here, instead of on your own team's fan board.

Anti-social behavior - major character flaw. But cheer up - I don't believe you are mentally ill, or I'd have you on ignore....

No they didn’t they said there was concerns about his tackling ability and willingness. there’s no fucking concerns about his character. It is your character in issue here pole smoker. Are you writing from jail?

So, serious question. As a cb, isn't it smart form to go for the lower legs, when you are outweighed more often than not, and to take

on his forward momentum, at his strongest points, his hips and shoulders, seems like you could get your clock cleaned?

You say this but make zero effort to read about said concerns. Instead you just deny, deny, deny and hope people forget about it. Cal knows something about that over on the political board.

It's a fucking character flaw to not want to do your job because it might hurt to tackle a running back. He also takes plays off with a lot of those being running plays. It's a lack of intestinal fortitude to make the hard play. The guy fell for a fucking reason gipper. Deny it all you want. You should also be ready for the Browns to not even be the best defense in the division. Hell they might be third. The Steelers have led the league in sacks the last two seasons and invested heavily in speed and the secondary. Yet here some of you are thinking you are just gonna run away with the division. It's hilarious.

Your defensive coordinator  also specializes in zone yet Denzel ward and Williams are heavy man corners. Might wanna get that checked and no it's not easy for a man corner to just play heavy zone.

  • DRC was not only a terrible tackler, but pretty much despised contact.    He ended up being an OK corner - so as long as Greedy can, as Dorsey said, get his "man on the ground"... we might be alright.  There is something for the argument that GW lacks the willingness to blow up somebody or fly down on screens with his hair on fire ala what Peppers would do.   Auburn saw this and there is plenty of evidence at....   @ 00:22      @ 1:29    @ 2:55    @ 3:19    @ 5:35    @ 5:55                 coaches won't draw this up if you're attacking it like one of my all time favorites - Malcolm Jenkins.   If Greedy beat one guy and secured a tackle, the tigers would have been a bit more shy about throwing this screen.

Having said that, playing defense takes a certain mentality.   Mentality is something you develop through experiences and being in a certain environment(s).    The mentality to play as we need Greedy to play will be something he will be exposed to early and often by Wilkes, Baker, Landry, Odell, Randall, Mitchell and Denzel.  "Attitude reflects leadership"     Simply put, you can't be a bitch at the NFL level.   I would expect players and coaches to be in his ear - in the weight room, both on and off the field.

My dude Liam Neeson said it brilliantly in, what will always be, one of my all time favorite movies...   @ 48 second mark

  • Wilks is also really heavy zone. Hell he may run more zone than any DC in the NFL. Corners that run a ton of man have big problems playing 10 yards off or more. The Browns are going to have to adjust or Williams is going to be in for a long rookie campaign.

From my understanding of Wilkes thus far, I think youre over generalizing his coverage calls and asking for spot zones.

He calls a TON of zone. Drop that e on the last name. I don't feel like looking it up but I'm fairly certain he calls more zone than any other DC in the league. I remember reading about it when he was hired and then seeing it reinforced after greedy was drafted.
