    One team was prepared.

    One team was not.

One team was doing an awful lot of commercials, promotions and online stuff.

I guess we will find out Monday night who is ready to get their heads back into football.

So it's not just me... whew.

I'm seeing Baker's face everywhere... add to that his off-season weight gain and I do wonder about his dedication. Hope I'm way off base here and/or Sunday's wake-up call kicks in.... FAST....

I think that Sunday's debacle was a direct reflection of none of the 1st teamers getting ANY useful play time during the preseason. I know that they have to prevent injuries, etc, but that was the most ill-prepared team I think I've ever seen. They certainly looked like they hadn't played football in about 8 months. It showed, really, throughout the league, this past weekend.

I've thought, especially in more recent years or maybe decades, that it can be risky when a young twenty something signs a contract with a signing bonus so "generous" that he can retire in style before he ever gets smacked in the mouth in a real NFL game.

And now that someone is pimping for HULU, not even NETFLIX, whoa.

Well we will find out more about his resolve to lead this team on the next MNF.

It did not show with Dallas or NE. Those two looked SB ready in all phases of the game.

EDIT: Welcome to the Titanic-just in time for the music to start.?

Even the HOU/NO game was awesome no layoff blues there.

The young #1 pick quarterback for AZ didn't look bad either.

.......but there were a lot of sloppy games beginning with GB/CHI.

Brees was rusty...................................................................for a half. Thank goodness experience showed because he won me my FFL this weekend with that 2nd half gem. It was truly a great MNF game.

You're correct ... but nearly all other games. Look at how badly Trubisky and the Bears looked. Even Aaron Rogers looked bad. The league has morphed into this "no preseason play for the starters" mentality, and it shows. We'll get better, but on Sunday, we lacked preparedness and discipline.

True, I missed the beginning but it was a great second half.

Never seen nor read a worse stat line in my life... 1) We had 7 drives in each half..(10 flags 1st half/8 flags 2nd) 2) Drives 2 & 4 in first half were the only drives of half, without a offensive flag..Worse.. the drive 2, was a 4th &28 after 2 sacks..the 4th drive started with a Chubb +9 yard run. to see 2 incomplete's, punting on 4th & 1😕..The 2nd half, the final 7th drive of game Chubb got 4 straight touches, failing on 4th & 2.. only 2 other drives in 2nd half that came without a offensive penalty in the drive?..were 2 interceptions.. were going to start running out of feet to shoot at this rate

Trubisky and co. laid an egg most of the entire game. It's the first game. If it doesn't click yet, it's not good. I just believe their game plan fell apart because they thought their oline could handle the defense they faced. Nope. Good that I benched him - he only was worth 2 freaking points. Probably the only time that will happen all season. We'll see how it goes.

  • So I'm watching the every play highlights and this is what I'll say on the theme of a good lot of Bakers throws.

There is a VERY fine line between Big Time Throws, and Turnover Worthy Throws.

Yeah saw Baker and the wifie's Progressive commercial on MNF.

Even the Rapist could only muster 3 measly points against the Pats.

Couldn’t happen to a better team.

    Big Ben is a rapist.

But the guy that owns the Pats gets handjobs from underage Asian girls in sex trafficking ring....

    Fuck em both.

Which one? There's like 3 of them with the "home(field)" theme.

  • I'm going through quite a bit from this clip, but I would be an ass if I didn't bring up the spot at 5:59.         First off, it's an asshole call. For some many reasons.   Almost reminds me of the time Hue went empty set with a backup tackle and a rookie Kizer vs the Ravens from the 1 yard line.     It was stupid as fuck then, it's worse now.   Because, despite Baker doing a box count, seeing the safety depth and doing a count from the center out, he still DID NOT check to the run.

This is a coaching issue.   This is a QB issue who should be out there getting your team into the right play.  Granted, he's still a very young QB.  I feel like as fans, and honestly, some of the coaches, have forgotten that.  But that is college level shit there.   On your own 1 and you're getting an ahead-of-the-chains gift that gives you a little breathing room.   Only to NOT take it.

Just an epic clusterfuck of a failure from the top down.

edit:  Sidenote, the lack of any type of bump, let alone a jam, press or otherwise is really going to piss me off from Wilks.   That sort of thing invites what the Titans did - a lot of 2 and 3 man routes off max pro using their bigger receivers to get cleanly into the pattern right off snap.

Only have seen one so far Tour. The one where he's messing with the circuit breaker panel... 🙂

  • You know what really scares me?  The Titans were without TWO STARTING offensive linemen, and our "dominant defensive line" couldn't force a turnover or generate enough pressure without blitzing help.  That's ridiculous.
