Browns at 49ers - Official MNF thread

Can't run Chubb head-on into the teeth of one of the best Dlines in the NFL and expect consistent success. On the flip side, can't throw a TE at one of the better young edge rushers in the NFL and expect it work to your advantage.

I totally agree, but the TE honesty blocked well. The problem is having a TE block bosa on a vertical route concept.

Not a good sign that the Scottish Hammer seems to be the best performing player on the team so far in this game.

My comment was directed to the thread.
Does this mean this is the "Official" thread and that I don't have to wake up at 6am?
I'll declare it to be "official" Nero. If our one trick wonder thread starter shows up, I'll just merge it with this one.... For some reason, I can't edit thread titles anymore, though a few months ago I got some enhanced Mod powers, & can kick people off the Board...

Ain't you special....

That shot play to Callaway on the first play of drive with a TE blocking Bosa was straight dumb and the defense needs to learn some containment ASAP
also another dumb 15 yard penalty

Still waiting on a boot, waggle, rollout...anything.

On a side note, 49ers are showing the benefits of using a fullback. Maybe the Browns should look to investing in one in the future.

Goddamn our fucking offensive line, man. Can't block for shit.

Wow, just wow.
-
wow, this is a breakdown right now...
-
The game boiled down to this
Our Oline drawing even vs their Dline
Our Dline neutralizing their running game and exposing their pass pro.
We're losing both sides. Honestly, I'm not here to be the downer but I'm packing this one in early. Just don't have the horses up front to use straight drops in pass pro. Young Shanny is the real deal, FYI.

The line held up fine, honestly. Not ideal protection but not awful. Baker has to throw the football.

I'd have to disagree with you on the Baker fumble play. Defenders were in the backfield almost instantaneously on that play.
