Ratbirds @ Browns Official Gameday thread

[CLEVELANDwantsPLAYOFFS]

Even though the season hasn’t gone as planned, don’t expect this group to roll over this week. Steve Wilks will need to find a way to contain Lamar Jackson.
Hopefully the offense shows up.

GO BROWNS!

One is a common raven. The other is a bloitmore raven. Can you spot the differences?

[Browns149]

I hope I’m wrong. But this feels like a complete beatdown coming today.

I do get the impression that the Ravens are itching for payback for the early season ass-beating given to them by the Browns.

So it's a test of this whether they allow said ass-beating on their home turf. It's a pride game ... let's see if we have any.

A good indication if Freddie has or has not lost the locker room, for sure.

That’s because the Browns won’t even show up. I’m going to put as much effort into tuning into this game as the players have over the last few games. That Cards game was a mail it in game for the players, don’t see this being any different

The rest of Ohio has it too, we're right on the OH/PA line and they can choose PIT if they want to.

[mjp28]

Good start and.....punt.

[tiamat63]

I like the look, the read and the throw to Seals-Jones.

Blt wants to play a heavy dose of man and matchup Smith on the bigger bodies at the perimeter.   It's a good look, just a freaking hair of an overthrow.    Promising opening derailed by a spotty holding call.

[SdBacker80]

The third down miss is the reason we need to make TE position a priority.  Baker loves those seam routes and difficult red zone shots to the TE position.  A game breaker in that spot is needed.

Seals and Harris can’t make those plays. Njoku too inconsistent

[tiamat63]

The open receivers were there and Lamar didn't pull the trigger on 2nd down.    Off coverage gave them the looks too.

[SdBacker80]

Good start.  Hopefully Jackson doesn’t start to  run

[mjp28]

Nice start again.

Meanwhile elsewhere early 8 TDs 0 FGs.

[mjp28]

...... and d'oh !

OBJ once again no discipline!!!!!

[tiamat63]

With this motion to quads and BLT just checking to man across the board, eventually you're going to have to throw that way and setup a rub/pick or the like.
