  • I think this hire sucks.......hope I'm wrong.

  • If he gets a coaching staff of Kubiak and Schwartz than I can live with it.

I dont have a good feeling about this though

Explain again how we can get Schwartz.    Is he free to sign anywhere?

  • Don't love it but don't hate it either. His offense is uninspiring but will have to see who he chooses for assistants. Players seem to like him at least.

McDaniels seemed overhyped as other teams didn't even interview him, probably wanted more control.

  • If anything, this gives us a ton of material for more polish jokes.    Perogi's FOR DAYS!!!

How many Stefanski's does it take to change a light bulb?

Two. One to hold the light bulb on a ladder, one to spin the ladder.

How can you tell who the bride is at a Stefanski wedding?

She's the one with the braided arm pit hair.

It's a bit of a Freddie Kitchens hire.  Not much OC time and boom...HC.    As you say, Hope for the best.

I believe his contract ran out this season.

  • Not sure about “Stinky”, but I was scared shitless we were going to hire McDaniels

Uhhm, if you were paying attention, Bill Belichick was mostly responsible for that.  He refused to allow McD to interview until Friday......and it worked....as NYG went ahead and hired a BB asst. that he ALLOWED to interview earlier, and  Carolina wanted to move and not wait.

The control freak in this situation is one Mr BB.

But....what again would be fresh would be this:

BB says he wants to move on from Brady.   Brady wants to play.  McDaniel says to Kraft:  I am more than willing to continue to work with TB.    Kraft says to BB:  You are now retired as the HC of the NEP.   And names McDaniel his HC.

    Beautiful, no?

OK.....well, if we could get him that would be good.

I'd bump it up to 9-7 as minimum to feeling like an accomplishment.

Right....I am saying that anything around .500 would be that.

I get it. But even 1 game over .500 would feel a little better.

  • Just saw this...”Kevin Stefanski values player usage/positioning over plays. Polar opposite from Freddie Kitchens”

thank goodness.  I’m tired of Hilliard flanked out and Harris targeted and some new WR called upon on 3rd and 5

Sure....the question though is:    What ARE our realistic  expectations?    I have NO delusions of grandeur.  Slightly better than 6-10  could literally be what we can hope for it seems.

Yet you’re talking about realistic expectations in January. Time will tell. The team should be significantly better.

That we'll be announcing the 19th head coach of the Cleveland Browns in two years?

Well....given the talent I guess your are right.  The assumption is that Stinky will be a significant improvement over Ferd.

At this point, that is as good as we can hope for.

  • OK. Hope the micromanaging from above takes a break for a while so the new HC can get his system in place

I hope we don’t see anymore draw plays on 4th and 9.

Or a 25 yard slant play on 3rd and 1.

  • first video - "this hire isn't a good hire, ...it's a GREAT HIRE"

a genius offensive coach - opposite of Kitchens.

  • Again the Browns bring in an underwhelming HC. I mean it wasn’t Stefanski’s fault the Vikings offense struggled he only had Diggs, Cook, Theilen and Rudolph.
