Those who don't pay attention to history TEND TO REPEAT IT. Hoorta, and I blame China for lies about what it was. I blame the WHO director, who is from Nigeria, for applauding China and telling lies. Nigeriia gets big money from China in support. The WHO corruptly went with the commie China's narrative. 1) Regarding Fineberg- how in the hell do you know he's not being 100% objective? Because it fits your conspiracy theory narrative? Sure China was slow on the draw, ditto the WHO, but plenty of blame to spread around in the good old USA too, in case you missed it. President Bush told America way back- there's going to be another pandemic, we just don't know when. Well, our strategic reserve of medical supplies got depleted in the last flu pandemic- and never got restocked.

3) China is secretly cremating bodies? So? And this relates to the pandemic in the United States exactly how? Supposedly, we have the CIA over there with boots on the ground attempting to figure out what's really going on. And absolutely immaterial as to what the United States should be doing now. Whether it's 30,000 deaths, 300,000 deaths or three million Chinese dead.
I came across this well thought out article, and golly gee- the first covid cases were brought over here by Americans who were in Wuhan. And we're not the only country that shut down the borders too slow, Italy is paying a severe price too. Sadly it looks like the predictions of 100- 200,000 deaths is going to be accurate.

By saying it was not all Chinas fault do you mean in relation to them not having any idea how fast or how far it had spread? If so then you have valid points, but I believe that its release, most likely by accident is solely Chinas fault. COVID certainly wasn't a virus created at the Wuhan Lab and released intentionally, but I am not fully convinced that this virus had not escaped from there. The fact is that the Wuhan Institute of Virology is a virology lab and they do study bats and other adorable critters.
This wouldn't have been the first time. In 2004 SARS leaked out of Chinese virology lab twice.
As far as what China knew and when they knew it, I'm not sure what to think.
