That post only "became sarcasm" after I posted Adam Schefter's Twitter showing the trade request to be reality.
Dutch endlessly [and correctly] said the OBJ trade request wasn't true after Icecube kept quoting Colin Cowherd as his reliable source for the request.
At this point the default opinion for anything Icecube posts has to be that it's going to be wrong.. even his opinions of himself.

I agree Cube. He has to get out of here to have any shot at a big payday. I don't blame him or his agent. I don't think he is a malcontent. You have to try to protect your interests and being here isn't in his best interests.Between Hooper and Hunt, they steal 85% of David's targets. Guys catching 20-30 balls a season don't get big money. They live on 1 year deals at minimum pay plus a few incentives.. When you are a pass catching TE with questionable hands, it isn't a good combination.
He was really never that good, he was more about potential with good length, size and speed. His hands were always questionable. To be honest, who have the Browns had worth a damn at TE since Ozzie? Seth Devalue? He was devalued. Malcolm Johnson? Randal Telfer? Brad Smelley? Pee u. Jordan Cameron? Had a nice 2013 and then what happened to him? He looked like a beast that season. Martin Rucker? Winslow Jr? One of the all time worst draft busts in Browns' history. Didn't he just get locked up for raping an 80-year old? Darnell Sanders? James Dearth? He was a real dearth of talent. If you're a TE and Cleveland drafts you, you're toast. They finally waved the white flat and signed a FA to turn the TE spot around.

I agree. Add in David isn't going to get a big contract from us. You can't afford to have 2 TE's on big contracts. I doubt we would have signed him again. Get what you can get and move on.

Rosenhaus will remain in his ear reminding him if he gets hurt in Cleveland - there won't be a good contract anywhere in 2021. Having said that, it'll be up to the leadership here to remind him he will have the best audition stage of his short career for a new contract ahead. I may not be the brightest apple in the orchard Larry but I played organized football for a long time. If you get 10 guys under quarantine for 2 weeks on the current active roster sizes - good luck with that especially when you factor in injuries. Ball carriers getting tackled rarely have just 1 or 2 guys. It's a contact sport. I live in Florida so I can't see all starters wearing a mask in this heat while they're running, blocking and tackling for 60 minutes here. Maybe they'll get face shields that will steam up (but it's better than what I just described). The spacing from tackle to tackle isn't ideal while none of them are far from the defender across from the los. Now you add in no huddle where guys are breathing hard - especially if most of their subs are in quarantine.
Mahomes' new contract has ZERO to do with a virus getting out of control in major cities/states that re-opened up for businesses. I'm not talking about the rural areas that people politicizing the virus will inevitably bring up. I can hear a Fox News mentality right now "What about the Dakotas, Wyoming and Montana Flugel? Then, I'd have to remind him they don't play NFL games in states where there's more cows than humans. When houses are miles apart, that sets up pretty good spacing - much like the distance between Trump's 2 brain cells.

When they re-open for business like California and Florida did - who's going to police the crowds of New Yorkers and spacing on the subways? Good luck with that! Trump was in the Governor's ear that if you pay out all of the unemployment - your economy is going to look like the Democratic States that I'm reminding America about almost hourly during these ideal campaign opportunities. More specifically, integrity FOR the people takes a back seat to WIN for me. The virus doesn't care Larry. Leadership has to be better than finger pointing from the top and pretending that 99% of America is fine. The hospitalizations and positivity rates are increasing at rates hospitals can't accommodate. I'm in Florida and I work in health care so I can get a pretty good idea about what's ahead for states racing to re-open (that have horrible leadership). The Leaders of Georgia are arguing and confusing the people about what needs to be done.
Look at the states that have multiple NFL teams beside Ohio like CA, FL, TX. None of them are doing well vrs the virus right now. Ohio and NY are doing well right now (but NY teams play in NJ and we know if they open up too early - it'll be a disaster). Arizona is over 100% in bed occupancy and are back to stopping all non-covid care even for cancer pts - just politically being told to not confirm. I work in health care as well and have enough friends in that state.
At this point I'd be shocked if any season happens at all - college or pro. We would have a season if the conservatives had paid attention to Real Americans and worn a mask at all times.

2) Am more concerned this season with Landry's hip..OBJ soft? We all saw the hit Calhoon put on that ankle..Soft's don't comeback that quick from those kind of high ankle sprains. Freak athletes DO! I still think OBJ got hurt landing awkwardly on his hip, in Camp last season. Right in front of Dorsey in the back of the end zone.. How Jay played needing core surgery? is Landry'ish.. Bless EM!
