Actually I was thinking of that and in fact sent that Crockett quote back to my friend who sent me this with the comment that he ? would likely meet the same destiny near the Alamo.?
In some attic in Texas somewhere there is probably still one of those coonskin caps made popular in the 50s.
BTW interesting little factoid from history. Meriwether Lewis wore a coonskin cap during the Lewis & Clark expedition.
