What can help the Browns in the NFL playoff picture?

Well, first it would have helped if they had not lost to the suckass Jets.

And the best thing that could help would be to get all our players  back healthy.    Something that hasn't been the case this entire year.   But beyond that, what?

    A.  Tonght....it would help if the Packers beat the Titans.....as then there would be  5 teams at  10-5.....and we would at least own the tiebreaker over them.

    B. Tomorrow and Next week.....the Dolphins go to play in Buffalo.   It would help if the Bills win.   And they are playing for the #2 seed.   They are also playing  tomorrow night vs. Pats.

    C. Next week....the Ravens  go to Cincinnati.   It would help if the Bengals win.   And the Bengals are playing well....having won 2 in a row now.

    D. Next week.... Jacksonville goes to Indianapolis.    It would help if the Jags would win.   But who the hell is counting on that?

    E. Next week....Titans go to Houston. It would help if the Texans would win.   And they too have been playing reasonably well.  Though they did lose to the Bengals.

    F.  And most of all....it would help if the Browns would beat the Fucking Steelers.

Win and they're in. That's all that needs to happen. If they don't beat the Steelers, they don't deserve it.

      Everything else is just noise.

Well....if they had beat the Jets they would have clinched a spot no?   You could say that if they can't beat the Jets, then they don't deserve it.  Fair to say?

Yeah we’ve made our bed.  We have to slay our dragon the steelers.

Lets focus on getting the Browns right.

          Getting Baker outside the pocket.

          Establishing the run game.

          Etc...

If a frog had wings it wouldn't bump its ass when it hopped...... I knew the Jets would be tough 2 weeks ago, even before the WR position screwup.

The Browns control their own destiny with 1 lousy game remaining, and it's a game against a team with nothing to play for and who will not be fielding their best lineup ..... If I told you that before the season started, you would have jumped on it..... I know I would have.

Just win the fucking game Browns.

But....do the Steelers "have nothing to play for"?

I am not sure about that.    They could still get the #2 seed....which is where they are now pending the Bills game tomorrow.   I believe they are still in competition with  the Bills for that seeding.    Or they could perhaps even drop to #4:   If the Titans win out they would be 12-4.   If the Steelers lose they too could be 12-4....and perhaps drop to 4th?   (though I believe they would have the better conference  record over the Tits.).  Still, they may be playing for 2 or 3 seed.

Just win the fucking game Browns.

Of course, that goes without saying.

Yea, maybe they will have something to play for, and to be 100% honest, I hope they do.

The Browns have already been the beneficiary of a cup cake schedule, and I would love to see them get to the dance by having to earn it....

You wanna be the best? You gotta beat the best.

To do that, I am afraid it would take going into Kansas City and winning there in the AFC  Title Game!!

Excuse me.... Exactly who was playing linebacker? Greedy, Delpit, and Harrison OUT-  75% of your starting secondary. You can't turn garbage into gold.

If the dolphins lose to the bills it doesn't really "help" us in getting to the playoffs. In that situation they own the tiebreaker no matter what. So either we win and we're in regardless of their outcome or we lose and they finish above us in any situation.

The same goes for the ratfuckers. If we don't beat the steelers it doesn't matter what they do as they will finish above us no matter what and a win puts us in automatically.

The only teams that can help the browns besides themselves are the jags beating the colts or the packers and Texans both taking down the titans.

I think these things DO have bearing from a seeding respect.    If we win and they both lose, we would get the higher seeding, no?

What you are saying is that if we lose....and they both lose, we still lose to both of them as far as making the playoffs?   And that the only way we gain a playoff spot if we lose is if the Colts lose or the Titans lose both their games?

All I can say is that losing this game today really, really fucks us over.

Just sayin'. You have any doubt the Browns would smear the Steelers if they were that decimated by no shows for the game?
