If the Browns were in the payoff hunt, the stadium would be standing room only. The Bungals have a chance for the playoffs and only 41,000 fans show up. Now they have to resort to players and coaches begging the fans to show up next week against Baltimore.

    Seriously.

Have the Dow Jones-like up and down records from year to year finally become to much for this fanbases fragile sensibility?

...or maybe Cincy fans truly suck.

EMBARRASSING. not just for the team, but for the city and organization. The pathetic 4-11 Browns still have the same attendance. Shows you how much the Bengals really "mean" to Cincinnati

Saying that bengal fans are pathetic is the one thing everyone on this board should be able to agree with..

They are for the most part fly by night fairweather fans that run for cover when a cloud appears..

And or perhaps showing their disapproval of the ownerships current direction in the process..

On the otherhand browns fans are idiots that run straight into the calm eye of the hurricane with $100 in hand and a positive outlook thinking things will get better when in fact all we are really doing is reinforcing and feeding hurricane randy and preventing a C-town saving shift in direction..

Well, the new low in Cinci is- if you're a season ticket holder, buy one ticket to the Ravens game, get one free. How pathetic is that attempting to get a sellout for the most important home game in two years?

Regarding Browns fans- take a look at Cinci, and tell me staying away in droves will work- it' won't. Might put more money in your pocket though. 🙂 The real profit engine in the NFL is TV revenue- teams could play to virtually empty stadiums and still break even. As I've pointed out before, if you're a long time season ticket holder, you're more than married to your seats, unless you happen to be a millionaire. If I dumped my 28 years worth of seniority 20 yard line seats in protest, it would probably cost me $30,000 to buy them back on e-Bay or Craiglist when the team improved. I'd NEVER be able to get seats that good again though the official waiting list. Seats between the 20s get handed down in wills- we've put in for seat improvement for the last 5 years and gotten nowhere.

paid attendance, anyway. it's pretty naive to say that every ticketholder is in attendance.

anyway, yes. bengals fans are pathetic.
