Final Fantasy Football Reports

This is only temporary until Kathy posts the usual report.
The long wait is over and all the hard work by all of the managers is done and the final results for the 2011 season are in. And there was a major upset. The team that has led the league all year and whom I thought would win it all has been de-throned. So let's see the final out come shall we?
The battle for first place was between fatherof3 and Ballantyne Bruisers. It was a tough fight and many men were lost in the fray but it was fatherof3 who came out the victor with a final score of fatherof3 82 and Ballantyne Bruisers 48. The outcome means that fatherof3 is the League 3 Champion and Ballantyne Bruisers will take home the second place trophy. Congrats to you both. After the game, sounds of cheering and the universal song of winners everywhere, We Are The Champions by Queen could be heard coming from fatherof3's locker room along with the unmistakable sound of champagne corks being popped.
The fight for 3rd place was between the team that ruled the league for the entire season Cleveland Steamers and the underdog in the match up, My Helmet's 2Tight. Helmet was not happy to find themselves facing Steamers in the playoffs but not one to give up, they brought all they had and were surprised that their effort , praying and pure luck had paid off and they somehow managed to grab 3rd place. Helmet symbolically bowed to Steamers out of respect for a skillfully managed team. This game also happened to be the Biggest Blowout Award winner with a +54 points going to Helmet. The final score was My Helmet's 2Tight 119 and Cleveland Steamers 65.
The 2 Consolation games played in the playoffs were:
RunninUover suffered a devastating loss to Football is back. Their final score was Football is back 99 and RunninUover 64.
The Korky Butcheks got their last win with a victory over Brownies with a final score of The Korky Butcheks 101, Brownies 85. This is also the last Squeaker Award this season with a point difference of 16.
So, the winners of league 3 are:
1st Place: fatherof3
2nd Place: Ballantyne Bruisers
3rd Place: My Helmet's 2Tight
And the final standings are:
*1. fatherof3 9-5-0 .643
*2. Ballantyne Bruisers 9-5-0 .643
3* My Helmet's 2Tight 9-5-0 .643
*4. Cleveland Steamers 10-3-1 .750
5. Football is back 7-7-0 .500
6. RunninUover 7-6-1 .536
7. The Korky Butcheks 8-5-1 .607
8. Brownies 8-5-1 .607
9. why cant we win 6-8-0 .429
10. Believeland Browns 5-9-0 .357
11. Peyton'sPosse 3-11-0 .214
12. stewartcj1 1-13-0 .71
Congratulations for a well played season league 3! Thanks for playing and hope to see you again next year.
Congratulations to the winners in all the leagues and to all who played.
And a big thank you to Kathy for keeping everything together and Zombo for also helping us keep everything going. You guys are great.
And to the entire Browns Board, I wish you all a very healthy, safe, prosperous and happy new year and may your blessings be abundant and your troubles and stress be as minimal as possible. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!

League 1 was won by Dot the I...who was coached by...wait, let me look for it...oh yeah..here it is... ME! Pulled off the upset in the finals thanks to Brees and the Saints running up the score and going for the passing record. The last TD put me on top by 3 points over Beanpot.

Okay, honor, glory and pats on the back all around for the super duper champions of the Browns Board Fantasy Football Leagues:
Beanpot's League
Cam Newton (31), Larry Fitzgerald (19) and Jordy Nelson (25) were kickin' it for Beanpot in the Fantasy Football Championship. The rest of the team spent too much time partying and left their points in their rooms, on the dance floor, at the beach or wherever. Dot the I took advantage of the open door and walked right into the win, 92-89. Drew Brees and his 26 points made the difference in the win. Dot celebrated (as you can see above) by talkin' smack with Zombo who did, in fact, finish 9th. Beanpot was his usual gentlemanly self, "Now I can *officially* congratulate you, Mark. Hell of a game!"
The Werewolves of Linden and the Average Joe's duked it out for third. The Joe's broke out the garlic to no avail and declared "Bah, humbug!" when the final score was posted. I have no idea what the phase of the moon was during the playoffs but it didn't make any difference to the Werewolves who prevailed, 110-73. Aaron Rodgers came through with an impressive 36 points before taking a seat to preserve his limbs for the NFL playoffs.
The Consolation Round saw the Ballantyne Buckeye's obliterated by The Usual Suspects 96-64.
The Redneck Roosters must've done the chicken dance when TexChainsaw Massaquoi's Tony Romo landed on the bench, posting a big fat ZERO. Reggie Wayne (21) and Rashard Mendenhall (16) weren't able to save the day for Tex and the Roosters celebrated a lucky victory 77-69.
Final Rankings:
*1. Dot the I 8-6-0 .571 1243 1174 L-1 7 8
*2. Beanpot 11-3-0 .786 1408 1260 W-7 10 15

11. Navdawg's Browns 5-9-0 .357 1054 1193 L-3 3 27
Oh, and some team from Greenville finished last.

Oreo's League
The Hammer and Lambdo's Air Show fought tooth and nail until the final gun. The Hammer pounded out the win 107-104. It was a great showing for two great teams. There didn't seem to be a weak link on either club and it's hard to tell what made the difference. Just goes to show that even the small things make a big difference. In this case, the Hammer won it all.
Another close matchup decided third place. Gocong or Go Home stayed, went "cong" and celebrated victory by climbing a skyscraper or something. Gocong defeated a scrappy dirty hands, 99-85.
Consolation round:
DD's beat beat Choo Choo's 86-78.
Beanpot doused Kentucky Barn Burner 106-84. Not even Aaron Rodgers could save the Barn.
Final Standings:
*1. The Hammer 10-3-1 .750 1307 1079 T-1 4 10

12. Bronx Browns 2-12-0 .143 705 1148 L-11 9 2
Congrats everyone! And an extra special thanks to Heidi and Zombo!

No problem at all Kathy. That's why you pay us the big bucks. Wait, we DO get paid for this, right?

Thanks for putting everything together

10. Calfox KosarDawgs 5-8-1 .393 1005 1091 W-1 5 10
Well, if Aaron had gotten me a hundred points every game with his qb'ing...
things would have worked out for the Kosardawgs. As it is, KosarDawgs sucked,
but still "won" because we didn't end up last.
