    Hey Browns fans!

Its a given that Luck and RG3 goes 1 and 2.

But if you dont trade up for RG3 who do you think the Browns will pick if they stay put at #4?

Do you think theres any chance they pick Claiborne to pair up with Haden?

As a bucs fan that would crush me.. I hope hes there at 5.

Been wondering about this for a few days and whos better to ask than the Browns fans themself?

My hunch is that Claiborne's probably the pick. If it were me... shortly before I resigned my position as Browns GM for letting someone else move up to #2 while I'm sitting on 2 firsts, I'd be looking immediately to Tampa to see if I could squeeze the #69 pick out of them to swap spots.

At that point, I'd start looking at the skill guys... Richardson (not my favorite choice), and you have to look at Blackmon should he run his 40 in under a half hour.

But if I could get out of #4, I'd look to get out of #5 as well. Get down into the teens. Pick up another second from someone who just has to have Riley Reiff or Trent Richardson. Then start my draft back there.

Take a Nick Perry somewhere in the teens. Maybe look WR at #22. Although that may be a little high. The value/cost ratio doesn't really kick in on this year's crop of wideouts until you get to about #35.

That said if they want to reach a little for Michael Floyd or Stephen Hill, I wouldn't call it a bad move. Although, the value is there, I think the Browns would lose the battle for public opinion if they went defense twice in Round 1 - even though CB may be the value at #22. If Kirkpatrick is there, he probably should be the pick. But I don't think it would be a great move politically speaking. If I'm the GM, I'd rather reach a bit for an offensive playmaker than get another CB, even if he's the best player available.

The Browns need to come out of this draft with one legitimate offensive skill player - someone who is a match-up problem for other teams. And if they can't make the deal for 2, they're going to have to do something. I don't know. If they finish Day 1 with Nick Perry and Stephen Hill/Michael Floyd, I guess they'll be marginally better for the effort.

I'm pretty sure the NFL draft has been cancelled this year due to the Mayan Calendar issue..we do appreciate that you allowed us to have vinny those 3 years...if only we had 96 with him(we just needed another couple years)

I would love to have Claiborne, but our biggest need is our putrid offense. Draft Blackmon and sign Finnegan or Carlos Rogers. Then go and sign Colston, there is no way they can keep him and Brees. Or sign Vincent Jackson.

I just hope you dont fuck us like you did when you took Joe Thomas.

We ended up with Gaines Adams and everyone knows that story.

Actually, no I don't know the full story. I know he died, but I don't know what happened.

And, if what I am hearing is correct, if the Browns were to trade down with you one spot, we should at no less ask for your 2d round pick in this year's draft to do so, fair to say?

I think we need to draft some cheerleaders.

blackmon if he's there if not, claiborne.

if we pick claiborne at our 4 spot then wr has to be 22 or a DE or a LB or............

If it goes like that, we go Claiborne.....he is by far the next best player.

Blackmon is this year best receiver, but he isn't as good as the first two receivers selected last year.

Haden and Claiborne would give us a solid corner tandem...as good as it gets really.

The negative is both will be stars and it will be hard to keep them both after this first contract cycle, but there is 2 years of separation, so it isn't impossible.

I have a growing suspicion that Claiborne is and was always the pick or the guy targeted. I won't hate the pick, it'd be awesome, but we really need offensive fire power. So I'll be a little bummed.

I am hoping for Claiborne at #4 and a couple decent free agent pick-ups on offense before the draft.

I just keep thinking the Browns might go after Manningham and maybe make a push for Harry Douglas (dude is fast as hell).

The only problem is Colt McCoy using a deep threat with his noodle arm.

It isn't worth giving up as much as the Rams want to move up 2 spots for a team that needs about 6-7 players to even be competitive.

I think after Luck Claiborne's the next best player. So if he's there at 4 and we can't trade down we gotta take him.

Griffin and if hes gone im going with Blackmon, if they both are gone im trading down...I think Blackmon is gonna be great at the next level he may not be the fastest guy but you put the tape on and hes plenty fast and is very elusive....
