I am still pondering the thought of having a guy named Jimmy Garrapollo on this football team. (he is from E. Illinois, same as Tony Romo).
OK what is the weirdest, funniest name of a football player that you can recall.

Well, it was done in like 1969, and as funny as it is the joke probably just lost its life after a few years. You see, right after that is when the Steelers began to get good, so maybe they had some dickshining going for them that made them play better.

CBS also has Garoppolo as a third rounder... and they say he has amazing accuracy. They really seem to dig him. He certainly looks the part on tape. Senior Bowl will be huge for him.
Hint on spelling: The only repeated letter is peepee (!).
If the Browns can't get or don't want Carr, Hundley, or Manziel, I could get interested in Jimmy G. But I wouldn't risk waiting until round 3. You do that at guard, not quarterback.

By the way, Dick Shiner's stats with the Browns was 3 completions in 9 attempts for 34 yards no TDs and 1 Int.
