Week 13 Game Impressions: Browns @ Pats

Pat Shurmur's fault

Wow. Bad PI call but we've got hosed twice this year by bad calls that cost us the game, against the Panthers and the Jets, so we get one back today at the expense of Cleveland.
Awesome performance by your team. You're going to be a dangerous AFC contender in the years to come

See ya asshat. Hope Gronks career is over.

Yea, Patriots are unbelievably lucky today. Browns earned every bit of a win. Man the NfL is losing credibility

Need to start fining refs for blowing calls like that. It does hurt the NFL.

Guys, I am a life long Bills fan, and just wanted to come by and express my outrage over that game. Y'all beat the Patriots* until the refs ripped it from you and handed Marcia and Co another "comeback" win. I see it twice a year every year. I just wanted to join in on the rage, because I fucking hate the Patriots* and all their loser fans that used to be Giants fans. It was a sickening display and the NFL should be embarrassed.

Who cares about officiating, win the fucking game. Browns Management + Browns Coaching + Browns fans = cannot possibly be the players' fault for sucking

The browns did not suck this game. They played outstanding on both sides of the ball. The ONLY mistake you could say is going for 2 so early in the game. And if you noticed, we lost by 1 point..

Up double digits with 2:50 to go, win the fucking game losers

NFL is fake, the Browns got fucked. Im questioning even watching the league anymore

As a sidenote, anyone else notice how improved our run defense is with Robertson back today? He sucks in pass coverage but is a beast against the run..

Good teams up by 14 with 2:30 = win, bad = loss
The are a shit team but for some reason we all accept that

That pathetic call is another subtle reason the Browns have to get a franchise QB. Campbell throws that ball and I bet it's not called. But when precious Brady throws it, they're much more inclined to throw the flag.
What shitty weekend of football, as noted by my two empty captain morgan bottles haha.

Nepatriots you know your golden boy team was handed that game. The patriots lost.

It was a ticky tacky PI call, no doubt about it, but the ball was right on his finger tips, so if he was even slightly impeded, the defender stopped a TD pass with interference.
I'll have to look at it again. I just think at first glance it was really ticky tacky, and if it happened the other way, I'd be raging.
That said, you guys got some zebra gifts that game too. The whistle blow on that fumble in the first quarter was BS, and that Gordon catch that hit the ground on a critical 1st down for the Browns was BS as well.

Sucks for Gronkowski though.

Honestly, you guys say we always get the calls but the truth is we don't. We get hosed a lot and when we do everyone celebrates us getting blatantly screwed, but when they do go our way, everyone cries foul and says we always get them.
Officials cost us the game this year against the Jets. Officials screwed us in the final seconds against the Panthers.
Last year the replacement officials screwed us really bad with the Ravens in week 3, and even might of given them the win on a field goal that didnt even look good.

His forward progress was already stopped which is why the whistle blew. Gordon knew the play was over. But even calling that a gift, patriots led in gifts that game at least 15-1. Must feel nice knowing the referees always have your back..

I didn't see the Jets game so I can't comment on that, but the Panthers call was correct. Gronkowski didn't even see the pass and wasn't in the play. By rule, pass interference can't be called if it is deemed that the receiver couldn't have made a play on the ball. It's just like an uncatchable ball call. So you can complain about that one, but it was the correct call..

Tuck Rule
Your team broke the new rule on FGs that's why you lost. The play in Carolina was, again, by the book. So in the games this year that you were "hosed" the correct calls were made.
Ticky tack pass interference? He wasn't touched.
