He doesn't deserve to be in the Hall of Fame. He was a bumbling owner in Cleveland that went 30 years without getting his team to the Super Bowl before he moved one of the NFL's greatest franchises without so much of a warning.
So ... he was on a committee introduced MNF and he won a Super Bowl with someone else's money after he shafted an entire city? That's his resume? He misses the finalist list again this year ... and it has nothing to with anybody from Cleveland. People around the league see absolutely nothing Hall worthy about him.

Can't tell if I'm serious? Ok let's put this in perspective. This country is founded on the genocide of OVER 70 MILLION Native Americans. So not only did this country kill them, give them diseases their immune systems weren't accustomed to, keep moving them west, taking their land, making treaties with them and not fulfilling them, and turning a beautiful land into a polluted wasteland where corporations have taken over power and call the shots, and then we go and make our team the Cleveland fucking Indians, with a logo with a red face and a feather, and huge smiling teeth... I don't want this to get into a political debate, but you do have a point. "Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee" should be required reading for every High School student on how our manifest destiny royally screwed the Native Americans, and deposited them on some of the most God-forsaken real estate in the country. For those that don't know, here's a question for you- how did Crazy Horse die? Answer- some smart ass Army private thought it would be cool to stab him in the back on the reservation.

Uhm, FYI, "The Cleveland Browns" is a specific reference to the color of the skin of African-Americans. The Cleveland Browns derive their name from Boxer Joe Louis.....aka "The Brown Bomber". The Brown Bomber being a reference to his skin.
So, if we are being politically correct we would have the following teams in this town:
The Cleveland Native Americans
The Cleveland African Americans
The Cleveland Royalist Supporters of King Charles I

Technically "Viking" is not a reference to an ethnic group. Essentially to "go viking" meant to go raiding. To be a "Viking" did not actually mean being a person of Scandinavian or Nordic descent....but simply meant that you went on raids pillaging and plundering. The term however became so closely associated with Nordic Raiders that it pretty much stuck to them.....but, theoretically you could have "Spanish Vikings" or Italian Vikings.
