Listen to the Haden Podcast of the really bigshow on WKNR 850 he says basically that our QB sucks and if we had a GOOD QB he feels we have playoff talent, and some players aren't putting in the same effort he puts in.

    Thoughts?

If he was talking about Wee-done, spot on. Campbell is mediocre- and who knows about Hoyer.

We don't know everything that goes on in the locker room, but I would bet that there are players not trying as hard as Haden.

    Thoughts?

Josh Cribbs talked about prima donnas and lack of fire,

my interpretation, back when he was with the Browns.

This draft is huge, and having Farmer there as gm, and

Scumbardi gone, and Banner as a short timer...

the Browns will look like a far different team next year,

with the fa and draft upcoming.

Can't wait til the entire team is on one page - going all out to win.

i don't think pettine is the kinda coach that keeps the prima donas or puts up with not committal players.

just by the looks of the guy i wouldn't fuck with him. him or farmer.

must go to the same gym.

LOL! Agreed I think pettine is going to have the approach of either a) as a player you ate going whip yourself into shape real fucking quick and put it all on the line for this team or 😎 you can fucking kick rocks abd be a halfass chump somewhere else, we wont waste millions in dumb dick pansy waste prima Donna cock suckers any longer. Least that's what I hope his attitude is.

I think Joe might as well keep an eye on his own side of the ball which, in my opinion, cost just as many or probably more games then the guys under center.

I realize joe can only be accountable for his own level of play but when you have a games in the season in which you're tied or winning and blow them all something is wrong. We just have tunnel vision and need one guy to blame.

well i think he's prob more frustrated that there isn't someone playing across from him that is equal or better at playing his position.

we SERIOUSLY need to add a one of the top 5 CBs to our roster in this draft.

if i had it my way it'd be our 2nd or 3rd pick.

Joe should shut up and quit giving up TD's at crucial times...idiot.

you should all really count your blessings when it comes to joe haden being a brown. he's probably the top 7 best corner in the league. and the fact that he embraced cleveland the way he did, makes me ashamed to hear other browns fans bash him.

yeah let him walk and we can have skrine and mcfadden as our one and two corners.

I dont get this board at times, our top players are criticised and others that clearly performed badly are constantly given chances to get better!

He's just stating the obvious. Everyone here knows this and been talking about it since last season's first game.

I agree with mik. Get us another top CB and the NFL will be talking nothing but good things about Browns D.

Big difference between bashing and criticism.

That's the kind of losing culture mentality that needs to be eradicated in Cleveland. It's like letting some hot broad walk all over you because you don't want to lose her. .."Well let's shutup and not say anything bad because it's Cleveland we're lucky to have them"

It's the NFL not the NBA whether you're the 53rd or 1st guy on the roster you should be held accountable and criticized. That doesn't mean Haden isn't appreciated and isn't an intregal part of the D because he is,but we need to get to the point where no one player is bigger than the team.

i understand the criticism but telling a guy to shut the fuck up when he basically telling the truth about what he sees, is hardly a reason for that reaction.

the guys a pro-bowler how many years now. he doesn't puff his chest out and do little dances like some Nwords do every time he makes a play. he's a humble, great athlete. i think joe thomas trumps him by one as being the face of the franchise and don't think anyone is trying to become bigger than the team.

maybe this was a cry out for help. "HEY FARMER, CAN YOU GET ME SOMEBODY THAT CAN PLAY ACROSS FROM ME!"

I think one of the reasons some people tend to criticize Haden is because he is the teams mvp so they expect unreasonably more out of him and expect him to be the savior.

Joe Haden is not the problem with our team, he is part of the solution. No, he isn't perfect, but he's the best CB we have so let's just concentrate on improving the other areas that actually need it.

Well yeah but Nickers is gonna be Nickers... love Hadens personality and character, I wasn't saying he is trying to be bigger than the team I just meant fans, media, front office in losing teams allow player to become bigger than the team.

It has to be tough playing like Haden does over 95 percent of the time,

and the passes keep getting completed other places on the field constantly.

Skrine is terrific little guy, but he isn't a #2 cb based on his short height alone.

Especially playing in the division they do. Haden has fire - I'm glad he spoke out.
