#1, as always - I'd like to see an OL that is good....for once in my lifetime. Protect the QB and open holes.

  • 1) Taking my kids to their first ever Browns game!

    2) Seeing how Brian Hoyer does in his first game back

    3) Whether the defense lives up to the hype.

    4) Johnny Football

    5) Taking my kids to their first ever Browns game!!!

Bernie Kosar drunkingly forcing his way into the announcer booth, kicking Wilcots out and mocking the Lions' 4th string players toughness and general looks.

I wanna see this zone blocking scheme in action. Wanna see some guards pulling and bush hog some would be tacklers.

Wanna see how the wideouts fare. Especially looking to see how some of the unknowns look. Willie Snead.

Coach Mike Pettine indicated that Manziel probably won't get any first-team reps in Saturday's preseason opener against the Lions, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Coach Mike Pettine indicated that Manziel probably won't get any first-team reps in Saturday's preseason opener against the Lions, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

    Analysis:

Pettine suggested Thursday that the team will probably have Brian Hoyer stick with the starters Saturday, with Manziel on track to work with the Browns' second unit. Beyond that, we expect Manziel to see first-team reps in the team's Aug. 18 exhibition game against the Redskins, with the Browns aiming to make a call on a Week 1 starter in advance of the their third preseason tilt.

Isaiah Crowell appears to be the first running back receiving carries in Browns camp following Ben Tate and Terrance West, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Crowell appears to be the first running back receiving carries in Browns camp following Ben Tate and Terrance West, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

    Analysis:

Crowell will continue to compete with Edwin Baker, Dion Lewis and Chris Ogbonnaya in camp, but as it currently stands, the undrafted free agent appears to have the slight edge. The report suggests that Crowell seems to be the best runner out of the aforementioned options, but notes that each member of that group has their own particular asset they bring to the reserve mix. Even if Crowell holds off the competition to earn a roster spot, he'll still have a tough time earning regular touches behind Tate and West.

I guess the next question is whether the first team will play the entire game or will the second team come in lead by Manziel at some point?

I'd think the latter but we shall see.

I want to see coaches who don't have that deer in the headlight expression, and actually act like they know what they're trying to accomplish.

The WORST coach I've ever seen in my life with exactly what you're talking about what Pat Shurmer. I swear to God that whole clusterfuck regime makes me want to punch a wall. I made it a drinking game every time we'd be killed on the field and Shurmer would have that face like a bully just took his toy.

    Reminds me of this:

I want to see great line play on both sides of the ball. Get that and the rest becomes easy to create as the season goes on.

1st team reps means facing opponents 1st team D.

I also want to see a head coach roaming the Browns sideline that looks like the stereotypical, Hollywood casting in a sports movie, instead of one who looks like they auditioned for the lead in Forrest Gump....................... Oh wait, that's already a 'check'.
