    HA!

    now that's hilarious!

What if someone else goes down? Are you going to say I can't wait to see what he does in 2016 with a healthy roster?

My point is that you're never going to have the perfect situation with no injuries or variables.

And if Hoyer and his agent are going to want top money, they are aren't getting it.

These last 6 games will determine the fate of Brian Hoyers future with the Cleveland Browns.

the perfect situation? i think every can agree that this has probably been the worst situation for a quarterback... im not asking for a perfect situation, but a situation viable for a quarterback to play to his full potential. i dont think peyton manning could play all that well with a sub par run game, no protection, and a bunch of tiny, cookie cutter, receivers who cant get open or make a play unless their set up perfectly. having josh gordon back is going to be huge. he's going to open up alot and give hoyer a safety net. having mack and cameron back would pretty much put hoyer into pro bowl discussion imo. results as a quarterback are not consistent with changed/different environments. look at matt cassel in new england compared to elsewhere. brian hoyer has the intangibles, ability, and mentality to be a really, really good QB.

That situation was good enough to beat Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, New Orleans, Oakland, and Tampa?

Hoyer's inaccuracy isn't the fault of a running game or short receivers....

"" I would bet a six pack on that and a six pack that will never he elite. I will probably win both bets and will split at worst.""

Exactly what I figured. You're the one that said Johnny would bust out quicker than tebow, now you're hedging your bet. Johnny will be in the league 10+ years and IMO will be comparable to Jeff Garcia. Is that elite?

If you have a playoff spot available you don't bench him

    No more excuses for Hoyer.

Wide open and throw an INT.

You can't blame the pressure, running game, or recievers for how horribly inaccurate Hoyer is.

There is no excuse for the pick. But no one knows if JF would do any better.. I'll trust the coaches on that one..

Anyone who can logically defend Brian Hoyer for today is mentally impaired.

Everyone has stepped up today. The D. Crowell. West. The line. He blew it.

    8/17 113 1 int and a 47 QBR

I agree, he looks really off today.....even had a fumble......like he doesn't even have his head in the game.....we should have score more points with all that GREAT field position.....3 blown opportunities......period.

The missed throw to GORDON on the rollout led to 3

The INT which was vomit inducing.

GORDON wide open with 15 seconds before the half.

Brian is what he is. A frighted inaccurate QB.

44 seconds doesn't excuse the other 59 minutes. He played like trash today.

But his team didn't quit on him and he won.

He sucked, but not when it mattered most.

I saw it....did you see the whole rest of the game??.....terrible. We really got away with one this week.

But we won. Hoyer is not our future QB imo, but we did win.

I'm tired of hearing about winning. Tebow won 11 games a couple a years ago pulling rabbits out of hats at the end of games.

Winning is fun until you play real teams and find out that your quarterback isn't good enough to beat them.
