If Brian was starting this week, it would be kind of a generational St Ignatius QB thing......considering Lucks daddy(olly) preceded him there.....

We've been killed by backup RBs all year, I hope we don't make a star out that Colts guy with the 3.3 ypc.

Welcome back to Cleveland, Chud, DQ, Cribbs, T-Rich...anyone else?

We're gonna need to force a few turnovers, and start getting TDs rather than (missed) field goals.

Unless Hoyer gets a supply of limitless pills, I don't see this offense keeping up. The Browns only chance is to get considerable help from the D.

    1. Win the turnover battle

    2. Turn those turnovers into TDs

the redskins with colt mccoy scored 27 against these guys last week...so it can be done....we may need a few more than that though..statistically if you can score more than 28 points you usually win....i say aim for 30 and hope the defense holds them better than the skins defense did....luck tore their secondary up.....

Our defense is better. The key is getting pressure against luck. We know what our secondary is capable of but if you let luck set and stand in there for 5+ seconds every time even the best secondary will have a problem.

surprised Poetic G hasn't chimed in yet to talk about T Rich gashing his old team because he feels wronged, the same way that Greg Little did.

Trent doesn't bother me, Boom on the other hand might be an issue as a chain mover.

It's ironic, the Colts biggest advantage on offense is in the rushing game, while our biggest advantage on offense is in the passing game... doesn't seem to make sense...

It's the same gameplan as all year. We have to score points early to force them to become a one-dimensional offense. We don't have the personnel on D to stuff the rush. It just hasn't happened, and won't happen, so we have to score points in order to force them to pass the football. If we can get the Colts to abandon the run, I have full faith in our secondary to make Luck pay. If the Colts get a lead and can start running the ball... we're done...

If our offense doesn't start well, and score TDs,... our D has no chance. This will take a full team effort on both sides of the ball...

The offense needs to be able to run the ball and keep Luck off of the field.

When this happens is when we've had our most convincing wins (Cincy, Pittsburgh)

When buffalo started running more in the 2nd half is when our whole D started to fold.

This probably won't go over well but I could see Trent (boom too) having a big game. We have given up big games to denard robinson and alfred blue. If we don't score early which I don't have too much faith in with hoyer to do, these two will run all over us. My ssd prediction is a loss by a lot. I hope I'm wrong. Hoyer needs to come out strong, TD on the first drive.

    No way we win this.

On the other hand, if Hoyer does pull out a win here . . . huge Can of Worms just open back up at the QB position.

Seeing all the turmoil and back and forth we've gone through this Season, wouldn't be surprised to see this happen - I just don't see it though.

What about controlling the clock with our running game to keep Luck off the field. Once they start scoring we have to play catch up. Hoyer to Gordon and run first.

man those lists make me wonder if the NFL has gone far enough in battling some of these injuries. i know you can't stop injuries in football but holy shit, kidneys bruised, ribs broken....what i saw of the cowboys/bears game last night was actually kind of scary. a WR or TE catching a pass and having 3 guys come in and blast the dude (not illegally) after the catch.

fucking cam might not ever see the field again. i mean out how many weeks with a concussion? when are just going to say the guys brains are scrambled and we can't play him.....again.
