What makes you think Twitter itself is a reliable source. Twitter itself is no more reliable than my dick. Who wrote the Twitter note? The Chicago Bears?

(nevertheless I do understand that is supposed to be the case)

Chicago just got themelves a proven winning coach. Fox has a 46-18 record, 4 consecutive first place finishes and that is not good enough for Denver who fire him? SMH.

I suppose it's the same argument Cincy could be making with Marvin Lewis in the near future. I'm not saying it's true one way or the other, but there's only so many times before you make the postseason and fail before you change direction in some manner.

Like I said, I hope Denver goes into a slide similar to what the Browns have had for 15 years. Bring back the vertical socks.

i know i'm getting older everyday but i don't want someone on the sidelines of my favorite team that looks like he needs to drag around an oxygen tank and is sporting depends.

yep.....the Schottenheimer effect......great teams that cant get over the hump do sometimes cut chase, believing the time is now and this guy aint getting it....

And I Can't believe Marv still has his job......I woulda fired him LAST year...ha!

Yeah- this is directed at Walter. You have to be careful with Twitter- it's why I don't bother with it.

Incidentally- that Tweet about Cardale Jones was a fraud. Got my hopes up for a few hours. 😡 So check how many followers the guy has before you spew to this board. The real Adam Schefter has 3.4 million followers, not 150.

Before the Bengals let go of Lewis they should remember their record before Lewis and their record after Lewis.

    91: 3-13

    92: 5-11

    93: 3-13

    94: 3-13

    95: 7-9

    96: 8-8

    97: 7-9

    98: 3-13

    99: 4-12

    00: 4-12

    01: 6-10

    02: 2-14

    Lewis Era:

    03: 8-8

    04: 8-8

    05: 11-5

    06: 8-8

    07: 7-9

    08: 4-11-1

    09: 10-6

    10: 4-12

    11: 9-7

    12:10-6

    13:11-5

    14:10-5-1

*Not one winning season in the 12 years before Lewis. One.500 season.

After Lewis 6 winning seasons, three .500 seasons and only 3 losing seasons. Lewis is like Marty he can't win a playoff game but he certainly is better than any coach before him in the last dozen years. The Bengals should look at that before firing him. JMO. I don't care what they do though, I only care what the Browns do.

Well, Im definitely good with him staying in Cinci....preferably forever! 😉

But, no matter what his regular season record is, you cannot ignore 0-6 in the playoffs.....tied for the worst ever for a HC

    With Jim Mora Sr.

(I assumed you were asking that trivia question)

Fox sucks. He is a replacement-level coach.

At this point perhaps.....but he is one of only a handful that have led two different teams to the Super Bowl.

Most things get broken on twitter first these days, especially in the world of sports.

Yeah. All coaches that take teams from 1-15 to the Super Bowl in two years are shitty.

only problem is that that never happened....who did he take from 1-15 to the Super Bowl?

edit....ok, I found it and stand corrected....though Id say that wasn't really a 1-15 team as much as it looks more like seifert drove a 7-9 team off a cliff and Fox got them back to where they belonged.....on the same note, that team also went from 12-4 to 2-14 in the same amount of time....so, there's that....

Yeah they had no qb that 2-14 year. They expected Matt Moore to be serviceable but he shit the bed.

    How does Fox suck?

You design a defense that allows Jake Delhomme to get to the Super Bowl or get to the second round of the playoffs with Tim Tebow.

Four years in Denver, four division championships, one Conference championship ... ya, he blows.
