The only thing to do with the past is learn from your mistakes going forward. I want to see the Browns identify past mistakes and stop repeating them. The first thing that comes to mind is continuity. Constantly tearing down a foundation being built. Put good people in place and give them some time. We have a good HC by all accounts. Give him some time.

    Bingo, right there.

Do NOT trade away draft picks. We have 3 of the top 43 picks, use them on players who can jump right in and contribute now. All these trades and reaching for talent has killed any chance of progress around here. It hasn't worked.

The Browns with some help up front on defense to stop the run game should have a real good defensive unit.

  • I have to agree with Cysco! Enough already! When you start reflecting on the good old days with Art Modell it's time to move on. Fifty years of hoping and dreaming of next year while franchise teams with little or no history, draft better, play better and hire better front office and coaches. As a fan from the sixties I feel like I've been held hostage for decades. Let Haslam and his "boys" run this sinking ship on their own.

And one last thing; why does Haslam want to move training camp to Columbus? I smell a rat!

  • As long as I see a commitment to winning I will support this team. I personally believe Pettine is the best coach this team has hired since coming back in the league in 99. First year under Pettine the team exceeds expectations. I want to see how he does in year 2 and year 3.

  • Take a look at where I live. If I can remain a Browns fan, so can you!

  • At least we can look forward to them putting a stupid fucking dog on the helmet.

    Nothing on the helmets, apparently.

  • Att.: Cysco, Have a Snicker's and snap out of it or Snap into a Slim Jim. We our not Jax.,Tenn. or Oak. Hoyer never had Josh and Mack on the field together for almost 2 Years. FA's and Draft if solely left up to Farmer and Coaches will dictate the Depth and Holes to be filled. We will Franchise tag Rubin or Sheard, and Gibson is a must sign and not walking. Hoyer may or may not be the answer for now, but at this point he may find out if some team will pay him as a Starter. Not in C-town he barely beat out one Johnny Football. We all know our needs and with Leader's like Joe Thomas we compete our ass off in every game. Good things happen to those who wait, Believe LAND...

  • "We will Franchise tag Rubin or Sheard"

Zero chance on either of those IMO. Rubinwas wildly overpaid for his production last year and would require a significant bump. Sheard is *fine* but would command top 5 OLB money, and he's not worth close to that. 2 sacks?

I'd be surprised if we franchise anyone this year.

  • Some of you act as if your first born child is addicted to heroin or that your wife has been fucking the neighbor's son for two years. This is just football. I know it is easy to latch on to it as if it's the most important thing in our lives, but it isn't, not even close.

Just hang on for the ride, there are so many unknown variables. To try and judge how the Browns will look in February is a fool's errand. We should count ourselves lucky if a mediocre football teams is the biggest source of conflict in our life.

Tolerate the shitshow that will be the 2015 season and hope we finally get the QB position right in 2016, which has a deep QB class.

  • How the season goes in 2015 is up in the air with the decisions that are going to be made going into the season. If they go with starting JM I can't see it going well. I believe the team has enough talent with a veteran QB or Hoyer they can compete. 2016 is probably the year to go after the right QB.

  • Hello. My name is Bill and I am a Browns addict. This is for my fellow addicts so you can follow the NFL combine on NFL Network.

We don't have a QB. Hoyer, right now, is our best shot at success. We all know where his ceiling is and we know he doesn't want to come here. There are no good options in FA and no reasonable options in trade. Apparently we're talking with McCown - Oh boy, I'm so excited for Josh McCown. Johnny Manziel was a waste of a pick and set us back two years. We're playing the AFCW and NFCW. We're learning a new offense. We can't retain free agents. We're going to dick up the uniforms. What a great day it is to be a Browns fan.

The best route I see now is make improvements on our defense. We can be a very good defensive team. I don't totally buy into that defense alone wins you games, you have to have some offense. I think Hoyer may give us enough offense.
