When #Browns made an offer for Jimmy Garoppolo during the draft, they didn’t offer a 1st. Just a 2nd & change. Pats wait & take this deal.

So..not to quote myself...but for all who want to BBQ the front office on this deal.  We offered more during the draft than the Patriots just took for an unproven QB.

They might want a QB.   Maybe we can send them Kizer or if Hogan is as good as the fanboy says he is....we can probably get NE first round pick for Hogan.  They only have 1 QB on their roster.

ahahhahahahahahaahah  O.K hell send em both we still have kessler

[Mark O]

The Pats had to have dealt Jimmy before the Browns paid $16M for a 2nd round pick, via the hallow Brock Lobster transaction. That was time

That from Jason La Canfora.

Unless Grabsapillow shits himself, SF won't want Cousins.   So there is one team out of the way.

[Mark O]

49ers are releasing Hoyer.  He can now go back to NE and be Brady's backup.

hell he could start for us

Yep...he could.   But I bet he takes the opportunity to go back and sit on the bench in NE and possibly get a ring.

[syd]

I would

maybe we could get ossweiler back

[runyon27]

Does Hoyer have to go through waivers? If so I wonder if some other team can claim him. I mean I would claim him just to block the Pats from getting him and force them to bring back clip board Jesus as their backup or something.

Pats will claim him. damn they are smart.

[runyon27]

Looks like per waiver rules he will become a FA so he can sign with anyone.

[runyon27]

Well I wonder why sending Hoyer over wasn't part of the deal, that leaves out any doubt, maybe the Pats have someone else in mind.
