Don’t get me wrong, Britt sucks, but he’s still one of our top 3 receivers. Stupid move.

    Laughable.

You are bitter when you don't get your way.

Have you read this board at all over the last four months?

^^^The statement above is one of the main problems with the Browns.....acceptance of players who are losers results in a losing Team. We have been willing to accept the unacceptable. Those days may (hopefully) be gone. Cutting Britt is a very positive 1st step.

    Mike

Like when we cut Bowe and Manziel? Yeah that worked wonders. Come on Mike. This was red meat for angry fans. Nothing more. Our receiving corps got worse.

Wasted money.  Spend a bit next year and bring in Davante Adams, Jarvis Landry or Moncrief.

Sure. That doesn't do anything for this season though.

    @stillmotion said:

I really liked how Dorsey said we can get players in here that can compete. Sounds like he knows he needs to get rid of all of the no talent practice squad players like Louis and get actual people who can catch here.

And war, who cares if we release Britt. Obviously you'd said multiple times this season doesn't matter. We'll find a much better replaceable WR next year.

True, it doesn't. But you've said it does. So how does this help us?

Yet the brilliant FO that you defend so blindly drafted 4 WRs, signed Britt and released Gabriel, all which were supposed to fix the WR courp....... Must have been someone else's fault I guess, and I can't wait to hear who's it is..... us fans probably by posting mean things about the WR's performance.

It helps us by cutting our losses and getting rid of a locker room cancer. Britt wasn't good for coleman, or gordon to be around. He's a slacker, and didn't contribute a thing. Don't forget TO and Chad Johnson both had mad skillz but someone didn't even want them because of their attitude. Kenny didn't even have near those kinda skills, and he's lazy.

Bill B would cut a player by being lazy or f#$%ing up, and could literally replace him with a person off the street. I'm sure some hungry kid could do just as good as Kenny can. Just face it, Kenny Bowe'd us to the max.

Please post quotes of you angry about Gabriel getting cut when it happened. I'll wait.

I don't mind missing on all the receivers (though Coleman is still very much TBD) when Sashi hit on almost everyone else.

We didn't cut our losses though. His salary was guaranteed for the year. Locker room cancer--I'm guessing that's getting very much blown out of proportion.

Idk man, Kenny's agent made fun of Hue right after the cut. As funny as it was, it's still kind of classless. Kenny complained about london and rented a luxury car and went off with coleman. Kenny played horrible. You can't expect a "winning" culture when people are half assing everything. I defended Kenny for weeks, but he's lazy and just wanted his payday. The team is better off without him.

  • I do not at all remember you defending Kenny for weeks either.

I went on and on about how I loved him in Tennessee and saw him play live for the Rams last season, and that if he’s healthy he can be a machine. After the first four weeks I said he had a slow start and would turn it around. At the London game, that’s when I finally gave up on him, weeks after. Remember that time you were wrong about the process? 😆

Belichik the HOF coach. Belichik the builder of dynasties. Belichik, the guy who idiot Cleveland boo'd and house vandalized with eggs.

But hey, fear not...........ask Flugel... Phil Sewage was the genius behind Ozzie,  Romeo Crennel was the genius behind Belichik, and Greg WIlliams is going to whip this D into shape by the time the 2017 season starts. Oh, wait, none of that schidt had any ties to reality.

If I am a betting man, I bet Britt catches a few key passes and scores some key TDs for NE. Good player.............Schidt Hue. Yet another thing to laugh at the Browns about.

Did they (Patriots)not watch any of his tape with the Browns? How many bounced off his hands for interceptions? How many easy catches did he drop?  Well, and this is a comment to Ghoolie- it costs the Patsies nothing to check him out- the Browns are paying him to play for New England. Desperation move by the Patriots Tom.

from NFL.com:  "Hauling in just 18 receptions for 233 yards and two touchdowns -- that works out to $583,333 per catch -- Britt made a bigger mark with a string of ugly drops and pressing questions about his desire from the coaching staff.

The Patriots don't need Britt to serve as a leader. They're simply looking for a guy who can step in as the team's fourth or fifth option for quarterback Tom Brady. Brandin Cooks, Danny Amendola and Chris Hogan all hold vast priority over Britt, but he could steal snaps from Phillip Dorsett if effective."

BTW, they're already down Edelman, Mitchell, and Bennett as WR TE. Amendola is playing with a bum knee, and Hogan is hurting too.

And so the Hoorta excuses start. Look dude, the Browns and this Dorsey axxhole are going to get another bitchslapping with Britt. If, as axxhole Dieken (a BIG part of why the Browns suck) says Britt is cancer, Belichik wouldn't bother with him. Belichik is a man of great accomplishment, he doesn't  " bring people in to take a look at them". Hoorta, you gave me this same bullschidt with Belichik took Dillon. On and on and on you went about how Belichik is going to learn something.. and what happened................. Dillion went to 2 Superbowls and was a great asset.

Make no mistake, Belichik will wipe his a$$ with Dorsey on this Britt acquisition.

It amazes me, the guy is the greatest football coach of all time, FAR FAR better than Paul Brown, and STILL, you think you are going to teach him something, as if he is too stupid to know what players to spend time on.

This Dorsey guy is another Phil Sewage. One day on the job and he got it shoved up his a$$. Idiot franchise. But hey............ I get it Larry, anyone who is good just won't fit into our mold.........anyone who is colorful is just not going to fit into our system.............we only want choir boys.

The Browns Blow. Dorsey Blows. Haslam is a BLOW magnate. Britt to the playoffs, Browns to a humilliating parade.

Britt averaged 35 catches per year when we signed him.  Nothing stellar.

He was a slacker here.  Pick a reason...
