QB vs Not having a QB, and teams don't need to run against us. They only run when they need to pick up a first down and we can't stop them in that category.

What then, is the defenses ranking against the pass?

We are currently 18th against the pass, in terms of yards allowed. Not exactly terrible.

Fire Hueless Jackass now.

Passing on over 62% of plays... with a rookie QB... and a successful run game...
Not only fails miserably but gives the other team plenty of time to rack up the points...
Stupid is as stupid does...
And dont give me "passing league" crap. Jaguars, Panthers, Vikings, Rams, Eagles, and Saints are all in top 10 of run plays called...

I think this has all been an elaborate prank. Hue knew he couldn't get fired so he just decided to wing this year. Spin a wheel and pick a play.

or he needed to see an accelerated view of Kizers % of completions and ability to properly evaluate him. Hence the reason he came to the conclusion "never gonna get it"

Chud was fired after one year for winning as many games as the Browns have won in 3 seasons. Haslam is the problem here. As my girlfriend’s dad says “a 6 can’t hire a 9”.

Tells.me teams are converting alot of 3rd and 8+ yards. The notion that teams don't run because they can pass is cowpoop. Teams pass cause they can't run against this defense

Ah good somebody else sees it also and the running into the assends of his linemen.
Yeah, runs right up their backs. He's so determined to go North and South, he's pressing. Which isn't a bad thing, but he's often 'out of control' and he loses all his power.

Well if you figure in about 50 or so of Kizer rushes are from passing plays your more like 68.5% pass and 32.5% run

Aha! The key to the puzzle.

It's like this writer is in my head. I couldnt habe said it better myself.

I can't disagree with anything he said.
The coaching staff wasn't dealt a great hand, but they made decisions that have made their hand even worse.
-
That was a well thought out article on the failure to coach properly both sides of the ball with they players the DO have. Classic case of not adjusting systems to personnel on hand. And the end result is Football Follies in all phases of the game combined with some great plays from time to time that just can't overcome bad coaching and bad decision making.
