thing that bothers me most about manziel's departure from rehab, thinking he might have learned something else besides sobriety is that picture taken at the tx rangers game. sure go to the game, have a great time BUT to sit in the front row when you know all the cameras will be pointing at you? c'mon man! wasn't the media half his prob last year?

the browns should have mandated he stay across the street from the facility in berea where pettine lived. sure it's not your swank celebrity digs but if you really want to prove to the team you are in it, wouldn't YOU do something like that?
I just don't see it like that at all. If he went to the Rangers game with Drake and Nolan Ryan then maybe. The guy just spent nearly his entire off-season taking care of himself, there's no problem at all going to a baseball game. It was one picture of the dude smiling, hell it's nice to see a picture of him without some douche lackey or a bottle of champagne.

Who knows if he'll win the job or not, that may not work out. But I'm happy to see the guy just looks physically better and is being photographed without a celebrity and a bottle of Dom. Heck, it's probably a healthy part of recovery for the guy to go to events without that stuff.

The philosophy of OC DeFilippo is spot on in my opinion when he states that an NFL quarterback today has to be sold out to the game and have a 24/7 commitment. That is the kind of commitment that will be expected from JM.
