Ingrained now into Browns lore or something that is dated and needs to be moved on from?

Hate the Dawg shid. Has nothing to do with the Browns.

Believe it or not, I feel the same way.    Knowing that started with 2 Corners that could cover WRs at a Pro Bowl level in spite of an inconsistent pass rush - it didn't feel suitable at all with the secondary that contested nobody during 1-31 football.

They need to earn an identity, which has prolly already been said more than once....

Star Wars. But both kind of resemble each other.

Didn't the old time players flat refuse to wear the fairy brownie logo on their uniforms once?

I do the Star Wars / Star Trek thing on purpose to troll the nerds.

Never heard that story about the elf. I wouldn't put him on the uniform, but on stuff like this, hell ya!

So the "angry Elf" is back! Sweet....

As for the "Dawg Pound"... that was a Muni Bleachers thing. It never really translated well to "Browns' Stadium"... but then neither did the team.

It's up to the team to breath life back into the Pound.

It's the other teams and fans look at it as a cartoon elf.

And the Patriots have a cartoon guy for a logo, the Minuteman.   The logo...and how scary it is don't matter.  It is how the team performs that matters.

Look up the definition of cartoon.

That's not a cartoon logo.  The Pats logo isn't meant to instill fear, but rather designed to command respect.

    Your elf would do neither.

But hey why not.  The other Cleveland teams logo, Chief Wahoo, does neither as well.

Speaking of pansy logos, how about that badass penguin on skates?

Now THAT makes a grown man tremble with fear and respect. ?

  • I’d rather have Chief Wahoo then an elf.

If these are not cartoons...what are they?

And if you think that either of these Pats logos instill fear or respect than the Brownie....you are one gullible human being.

Besides, I don't think that these logos are meant to do either.  There is NO logo that would ever instill fear in another team's players....nor any respect. They get that from the way they play on the field.   These logos are nothing more than marketing tools....to sell parphenalia and crap, and that is all.  If you don't know that, then you are a tool.

Right. Logos are basically cartoon like or symbols or whatever the designer has in mind.

Afterall what kind of a sports team is truly represented by a cardinal, blue jay, Metropolitan, blue jacket or even penguin as long as the fans like it.....well most of them anyway.

GO PENGUINS, now that's a scary sight!

Move on. The dawg defense was in the 80s and that's where it should remain.
