He got thrown into a bad no win situation on one of the worst teams in NFL history following a disastrous 1-15 season with only two years of NCAA experience. .......but we all know that now.
He should be just fine.
He was a big part of making it "one of the worst teams in NFL history"....so, no, I am not giving him a pass for that reason.

Being from Toledo,Yep am pulling for Kizer..But as I've posted before,imo if you put Kizer & Hundley in 2 white jersey's their deliveries & results were so much the same they would be hard to tell who's who..I do like our trading odds..Hundley was a 5th rd.pick (147), sent for a 6th to Seattle..Kizer was a 2nd (pick 52)..We ended up receiving Damarious Randall in trade. Than we flipped both 4th & 5th round picks with GB, going slightly back up again to get Antonio Callaway. Sat on GB's 5th round pick to a promising Genard Avery pick..

"Thrown into an impossible situation" LOL...I assume that is a pun, as it was he and only he that threw the 22 ints, and fumbled the ball constantly. While certainly he should not have been put in that position, once there, again, it was he who failed consistently.
And why do you hope that it is ancient history? As long as he plays for another team, as far as I am concerned he can continue to play as poorly as he did here. Nothing personal, its just that I believe that if we had to put up with his shite, so should someone else.

Yep...Biggest take away from today...There are no anomalies in the NFL...If you have accuracy issues in college , they'll follow you to the pro's...If you suck as a head coach (or special teams coach)...you're not suddenly going to "learn" how to coach in the off season.

The GB offense is completely set up around Rodgers as quarterback, his style and everything else with some pretty young guys around him. Kizer or anyone else who steps in will have to deal with that. Oh GB pulled it out 24-23 (?).
