The Browns aren’t going to make the playoffs but being competitive is enough this year as the team is so young. Two drafts back to back look very good but obviously with three wins already they’re out of the running for the number one QB whoever that may be.

How else can they address the QB situation going into next year?

I don't mind all that much that the Browns may not get the top qb in the draft. The "top qb" may very well NOT be the right guy. As in,
the Browns drafted Baker Mayfield instead of Josh Allen. I had Allen in my stupid mock draft. So, just draft the RIGHT QB.

This Jets game - twatson needs to go after this season. Give it up, Browns. I don't get it - all the hate was on Baker, even when the oline struggled, and the wr core was far less than what it should have been. Now, nothing matters about the qb now, when twatson fails again and again, with a fine wr group, a far better oline, better TE group, and a coach that isn't stupanski. Anyways, here is a few videos about it:

Just give it up. twatson is a very athletic scumbag - doesn't react/see the field well, doesn't have the skills to be a shotgun qb, but he is more comfortable in it.....whatever. The Jets outplayed the very talented Browns, they outcoached the Browns vs the Browns offense.

Unfortunately, Watson's first potential day out of a Browns uniform is the second day (March 12) of the 2027 league year -- that's when you can cut a guy and designate as post-June-1. Watson OTC

@calfoxwc How many fantasy points did Baker score compared to Deshaun when they faced each other a couple weeks ago?

Cuz you were talking a lot before the game about this, but for some reason you’ve never told us how that worked out. 😂

And you actually wrote that Watson has a far better OLine
than the top ranked OLine that Baker had? 😝 As absolutely brain dead as the typical MAGAflake is, you take the cake.

Anyone else notice Bond can't seem to catch a ball without jumping or leaving the ground??

Yeah, since last season and still hasn't fixed it.

He did this twice while running across the middle.

I think he's scared shitless that he's going to get hit hard... and that's why he jumps for no apparent reason, in an attempt to cushion the blow or something.

but if you get hit in the air compared to your feet on the ground, don't you stand more of a chance for a injury

    Yes.

But I think in his head jumping/leaping will help him avoid getting his head tore off because his head in theory would be higher than the defensive player expects, or something?

I'm reaching for straws here, honestly. It's the only thing I can come up to why he leaps for passes that don't need to have a receiver jump for them.
