Sure beats discussing the Browns.

Fukcing amazing. Tom Brady.
Damn. Versus the Titans or not, that's an awesome performance.
Brees was on fire today, too.
Yeha, let's give DA a pass because he threw one decent pass all day. This thread is about a guy that can't throw anything but a 100mph fastball. You notice those sidleline outs that were uncatchable? Gonna blame Robiskie for the high out he couldn't drag his feet on?
You notice the dork that can't handle a snap from center? Or underthrow a gift INT into double coverage?
You notice a guy that can't even complete 50% suck level of his passes?
You notice the guy that sees a jailhouse blitz coming and is clueless about how to handle it? (Go watch Flacco compete a pass given the same situation).
SERIOUSLY, YOU GUYS ARE SO USED TO SEEING SHIT QUARTERBACKING, YOU'VE FORGOTTEN WHAT A REAL LIVE GOOD NFL QB LOOKS LIKE.
Perfect analysis of our situation. You can't catch a ball blazing at you 100 mph. DA's got no touch.
Curious how all the receivers just happen to have the dropsies? Common denominator is the awful QB throwing them uncatchable balls.
or maybe he just really hates the half hour commute.
Maybe.
Just saying--peculiar timing.
Yeah, ESPN reported that he said he is downsizing. He's probably downsizing because he's not going to make that 11mil incentive for not taking 70% of the snaps. I had no idea that was in his contract, until I read it the other day. I now see why he's been benched. He's not any better than DA, so why fork out 11mil for someone of equal quality in DA??
Yeah, but Quinn's already made millions. This year, doesn't he get 700,000 without the incentives?
It isn't like the house is some monster 10 million dollar palace he's paying on; it's only worth $630,000.
Why would he need to downsize that, knowing what his salary is? And in the middle of the season? Conveniently after DA's debacle of a performance? Knowing the media would run with it, like they did with Jay Cutler?
I think he either knows his name's is in serious discussions or he's sending a passive message.
Best part of the Bills Billboard story:
"Abshagen said he first proposed the billboard idea on a Bills fan message board following the team's 38-10 loss at Miami on Oct. 4.
A few days later, he designed a web site and began seeking donations. Abshagen said the site attracted little attention until several media outlets mentioned the campaign in stories, particularly after the loss to the Browns.
"That was the one that tilted the scales," he said. "That was embarrassing."
The response was so overwhelming that Abshagen said he raised the necessary $1,125 to rent the billboard for a week by Tuesday night. He's now begun a second campaign to raise another $1,125 to extend the rental for one more week or rent a second billboard."
Sigh.
And then of course there's this gem of a stat: Second lowest completion rate of a winning QB since the AFL Merger! Congratulations?
"Despite Historically-Bad Performance, Anderson Still Browns' Starter
Derek Anderson was bad in the Browns 6-3 win over Buffalo this past Sunday.
(How bad was he?)
He was so bad, it ranks as one of the worst single-game performances of all time according to sports history blog Inhistoric.
2-17, 23 yards, 1 sack, 1 INT, zero touchdowns. He had a QB rating of 15.1 and his completion percentage was just 11.8% -- the second-lowest percentage of a winning quarterback since the AFL merger. Only Don Gault, who won a game in 1970 despite converting on only 1 of 16 passes, had a worse completion percentage. It's also the first time since the turn of the century that a team won with just three or less completions.
Um. congratulations?
So with Brady Quinn and his salary escalators waiting in the wings, surely head coach Eric Mangini will want to hand the keys over to him, right? Nope. Mangini is going all-in with the guy who has a 15.1 passer rating."

Jimmy just lit us up & tore Mangini a new one. I don't have the transcript, but he called him a poor-man's Josh McDaniels and nowhere close to "the hoody".Also, our only playmakers are Cribbs & Thomas.
Ouch.
Agree. I've never liked Mangini; just always seemed like Belichick's shoeshine boy who got lucky being associated with a genius and fooled everyone.
And then turned around and bit his ex-boss, who was the one and only reason Mangini became more than a errand runner.
I can't stand disloyalty.
Quote from Cleveland Plain Dealer: "Managini said he's talked to Quinn and "He's focused on Pittsburgh." Mangini also said, "We get calls all the time that we listen to, but Brady is a Cleveland Brown and it's not anything we're looking to do.''
I wonder if that means the team receives trade calls for the totality of the players, or if the Browns 'get calls all the time' about Quinn specifically?
And if so, and the offers are high enough, why the heck not pull the trigger if Quinn's on the bench?

BEREA, Ohio (AP) - Browns coach Eric Mangini said he's not trying to trade quarterback Brady Quinn, who lost his starting job after just 10 quarters this season.
With the Oct. 20 trade deadline approaching, there has been mounting speculation the Browns will deal Quinn, a former first-round pick who began the season as Cleveland's starter. But Quinn struggled in losses to Minnesota and Denver and Mangini benched him for Derek Anderson.
"We're not looking to move Brady Quinn," Mangini said Wednesday. "Brady is a Cleveland Brown and that's not anything we're looking to do."
Mangini says he has a good relationship with Quinn as does offensive coordinator Brian Daboll.
Quinn has put his suburban home up for sale, fueling talk that he wants out of Cleveland. But the former Notre Dame star said his intentions to sell have nothing to do with his status on the team or unhappiness with the Browns.
"It indicates a house is for sale," Quinn said, joking that he appreciated the free publicity in a tough housing market.
Quinn, who is not married, said he's looking to downsize from his five-bedroom property and shorten his commute to the team's training facility.
Quinn said he has not asked the Browns to trade him, and that's something he would never demand.
"I want to play," he said. "I think I'm good enough to play in this league. But I'm here right now to do the best I can for this team."
Quinn stands to lose $11 million in contract incentives this season if he doesn't play in 70 percent of the offensive snaps.
They would never come out and say it, but I wouldn't be shocked if they actually saw quinn as the better qb, but only incrementally so, and were benching him for contract/salary cap purposes. i'm not sure how communicative mangini is with his players, but i feel like just ignoring that as your motivation in talks with the player could create tension and ill will. if that's the case i'd be upfront enough to say look, we think there's a chance you might work out here, but since we havent seen enough for us to be sure of that, we can't play you 70% of the time this year. that incentive was built into the deal so that you'd be fairly rewarded if you turned out to be THE guy, which you haven't, yet. you might, and if you do, we'll revisit the contract terms, do an extension, whatever your play warrants. no hard feelings, but this is our right from a business perspective, and the reason that the escalator terms are put into the deal in the first place, from the team's point of view.
It'll be interesting to see if they reinsert Quinn after he can no longer mathematically reach his escalators. I think it's a possibly, provided they don't trade him before the deadline.

Hmm, well maybe it is just a speculative move on his part.
Reports: Brady Quinn puts Avon home up for sale

Tracy Boulian/PDBrady Quinn is reportedly deciding whether to ask the Browns for a trade.
Shaw: Browns shouldn't rush into dealCLEVELAND, Ohio -- Brady Quinn's home in Avon Lake was listed for sale on Tuesday, according to multiple reports.
The deposed Browns quarterback feels his time with the team is nearing an end. Since being replaced by Derek Anderson, Quinn has been at odds with coach Eric Mangini and offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, said a source.
Quinn's practice reps have dried up and he has challenged Mangini about his demotion after 2 1/2 games as the Browns' starting quarterback.
Quinn is missing out on about $11 million in salary escalators in his contract by not being on the field for 70 percent of the snaps this season. His is signed through 2011.
The source said that Quinn was weighing whether to formally ask the team to trade him. Some in the league believe the Browns will not pull the trigger on a trade because Quinn's value has plummeted.
The NFL trading deadline is Oct. 20.
Wow!The real estate market Is Really Going Down.
LOL
Fowarding this pic and your comment above to guys I know in real estate. Always good to have something to laugh about in this market.

I think it's pretty crazy, too... and Quinn should have started at least until the bye. He played against three great defenses with one WR who couldn't catch and another who wasn't a WR, no running game, and severe restrictions.Agreed, it wasn't at all pretty. But I was still shocked when he was pulled. Intrigued and a little hopeful... but still shocked. Now that Anderson has blown ass, it looks even crazier.
I think the 11 mill thing comes into play, given a few things Mangini has said about saving money that will improve the team in the offseason. Quinn needs to start about 11 games to make his money, so the plan might have been to let Anderson suck for a few more games and check into Quinn after the bye.
I don't think Quinn is down with that plan, though.
I think the incentives were the nail in the coffin, too.
Pretty good break down, if no one's read it:
"Cleveland Browns QB Conspiracy Corner
This is a new feature of mine. It will run this one time. Then it will be gone. Until it comes back.
When I started writing my piece yesterday about the QB Break Down (double-entendre alert!), I never had an honest thought in my head that by the time I was done DA would actually have been named the starter. Call it wishful thinking; call it naivetĂ©; call it whatever you must. The fact is, I never dreamed that after only 2.5 games anyone would be willing to say theyâd seen enough of Brady Quinn to know he had no future with this team.
Alas, I was wrong.
But, I donât think itâs that simple. As Keyser Soze once opined, âThe greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didnât exist.â So, while some may choose to believe that Brady Quinn got hosed, and that Eric Mangini is merely trying to net some offense to stave off the wolves at the door for awhile at the expense of long-term development, I think the answer has been hiding right in front of our faces all along.
1. Brady Quinnâs contract is laden with incentives.
As Deep Throat (the Nixon guy, you pervs) once stated, âFollow the money!â Itâs not a secret that Quinnâs deal has escalators that kick in after he plays a certain percentage of the teamâs snaps as well as anything stats-related. Itâs not a secret that the lionâs share of DAâs money has already been paid out in bonus form. By pulling Quinn in favor of Anderson after such a short period of time, Mangini has all but guaranteed that Quinn cannot reach those escalators, and will cost much, much less against the salary cap, and will also make him more tradeable.
2. Eric Mangini never wanted Quinn as his starter to begin with.
Why else would this competition have gone on so long in the pre-season? Why else would Andersonâa guy we already have quite an extensive tome on with respect to his strengths and weaknesses as a playerâkeep getting so many chances? Why else would Mangini insist that Brett Ratliff be included in the trade with the Jets on draft-day?
3. Mangini wanted an excuse to get rid of Quinn.
Following up on #2, Mangini knew that it would be a mistake simpy to cut Quinn, which would basically tell the fan base, âLook, weâre going to suck on ice for the next two years, so weâre just going to with the guy whoâs under the expensive contract and will keep the seat warm until I can get more of my guys in here on both sides of the ball to be ready for a new QB of the future.â To do so would be a PR suicide. Browns fans are nothing if not willing to forget things in the short-term and go into almost every season with some kind of blind optimism. Why urinate on that before the season even started?
4. Mangini set Quinn up to fail.
Because of #2 and #3, Mangini pre-orchestrated a plan to give Quinn a minscule shot so that he could say to the fan base, âSee? We tried. It didnât work. Time to move on to Plan B-as-in-âBlow Upâ folks,â and at the first sign of struggle would then jettison the Golden Domer in favor of Anderson to ride out the next two years while DAâs still under contract. Why else would we have such crappy play-calling game-in and game-out? Why else would the playcalling open up somewhat once DA was inserted in the third quarter on Sunday? Why else would Josh Cribbs be the starting #2 wide receiver when he hasnât showed enough to merit that continued opportunity?
5. The Smoking Gun: Brian Robiskie will not only be active on Sunday, but will start opposite Edwards.
Mangini will announce that Robiskie made great strides in practice this week, and not only will he be active, but will start and make an impact. Cincinnatiâs secondary is by far their weakest area, and Mangini will set Anderson up to look light years better than Quinn in an effort to justify moving Mr. Myoplex at the trading deadline for additional draft picks.
Itâs all part of the master plan, folks. Mangini played us all like fiddles in an effort to get Quinn out of here and buy some time to build a team for his own QB in 2011, whether it be Ratliff or someone else not yet on the roster.
And, in a final move, Quinn will rip off his Browns jersey on Sunday to reveal a Dolphins jersey underneath, will hit Mangini with a folding chair, and then climb to the top of the benches and deliver one last flying elbow to the lumbar region, marking the end of this clowny chapter in Browns QB history."
He hasn't made the money he was hoping he would, now he has to down size to a million dollar home and sell his 5 million dollar home. I feel so bad for him.
As a follow up, just heard the asking price for the house is $775,000.
So it's looking like he's not interested in downsizing due to a reduced salary, so much as he's interested in getting the heck out of Cleveland.
Seems like Seattle with Hasslebeck would be a good fit.
Essentially, if BE gets a certain number of catches (undisclosed) our pick bumps up to the 2nd round. So we want him to light it on fire like he is tonight for the rest of the season despite how sickening it is to watch. Boy it's great to be a browns fan.
Isn't it an unbelieveable situation to be in? No other franchise could put its fans in such a masochistic position as to have to root for the guy our head coach just sold at bargain basement price.
John Gruden better pace himself or he's going to asphyxiate on Braylon's dick n' balls.
LOL. Funniest post of the night.
Looks like Sanchez has a new favorite target.
Man. Sanchez to Edwards--that should have been ours.
