Just learned that Jack Conklin is a first team All-pro as a rookie. Wouldn't we all love to have an All Pro offensive tackle at the age of 22? Of course, we traded the pick (#8) away.

Jesus gone; Hogan to active rosterNo sure I am a huge fan of this move. Having two rookies at the most important position is basically saying tank the season.

Kessler looking good so farBeen impressed with the poise of Cody Kessler. I really have, but with weapons like Pryor and Coleman, who can stretch the field, you need a QB with a bigger arm. He doesn't have that. his longest completion was a lousy 14 yards (and half of that was Crowell breaking tackles). He's looking like he could be a solid backup and a great emergency starter. But you need the guy throwing who can stretch the field.

Carson WentzUnlike Dak who has Eeke, Dez, Witten and best OL in the NFL, Wentz has to work with below-average support and the eagles scored the most points so far.
I mean, other than Wentz, I am not sure I would exchange any eagles offensive player with ours. Maybe Spiroles?

I consider these 2 winsThat are the two wins we should have. Looking at the schedule, I am not sure I see a win until Oct 30 when Jets visit.

Kessler isn't going to Suck as Bad as We ThinkI thought he did a great job and we should have won the game. Next few games will tell us a little bit more. Right now, he is playing like a good backup QB and he will only get better.

Boy were they foolish...The first game Jamarcus Russell started in 2008 he went 17 of 26 (65%) with 2 TD's and no INT's. His rating that game was 111. Jamarcus Russell was a big, strong QB as well.
Carson Wentz rating was 101 exactly against most likely the worst defense in the NFL. You guys are honestly ridiculous sometimes-let's see how the guy plays more than once against better defenses before saying "we missed that boat". In other words, calm the fuck down and let's see what we got.
???. You do not have to like Wentz. However, his first start compared to What Russell did was day and night difference. This is from Wikipedia:
"Russell made his first professional appearance on December 2, 2007 against the Denver Broncos. Coming into the game in the second quarter in relief of starter Josh McCown, Russell played two series, and completed 4 of 7 pass attempts for 56 yards.[16]
On December 23, 2007 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Russell threw his first career touchdown pass, a 2-yard pass toZach Miller. He finished the game with seven completions on 23 pass attempts for 83 yards, with one touchdown pass, threeinterceptions and a lost fumble.[17]
Russell made his first career start in the final game of the season against the San Diego Chargers. Russell was intercepted twice and lost a fumble, which led to 17 points off turnovers for the Chargers. After throwing his second interception, Russell did not initially get up off the field due to an injury, and he was taken to the locker room on a cart later in the game, after which he was replaced by Andrew Walter"
