This is how much I hate the steelersSeriously......ever hear the term "inbred toothless hillbillies"? aka Steeler fans?
Yea, by Browns fans and no one else.
-
This is how much I hate the steelersWe do have an education...and all of our teeth.
Heard this before, makes no sense.
-
This is how much I hate the steelersTo be fair, not all Browns fans have a high football IQ either.
Case in point....

Camp Wentz- Starts here. -
Columbus and the NFL...Also...
You know "That State up North" ??
Well Detroit is a sinking ship and there is nothing that says the Lions have to stay in the Motor City!
-
Columbus and the NFL...well with the browns showing interest in columbus through a TC situation and the nfl not saying no it would seem likely something would happen in columbus. not saying a permanent nfl team being there but maybe a game or 2 being played there during the regular season by the browns and bengals. bring more revenue, nore 'on-the-fringe' fans and the nfl has a footprint there just like they do when they send teams to europe or mexico.
Thats a fair point. Not sure the league would go for it otherwise you'll get teams doing the same thing all over the country.
My thought is that Columbus is not on the radar right now....BUT, it will be when the population clicks over 1,000,000 in roughly a decade.
Nobody legitimately saw cities like Jacksonville, Indianapolis, or even Seattle getting teams! However, these cities population, media size, and other factors were impossible for the NFL to ignore.
-
Columbus and the NFL...San Antonio is just the hostage city these NFL teams use to make demands on their current city.
Not anymore, San Antonio is moving to make this happen.

Columbus and the NFL...Too close to Cincy and Cleveland
Okay, what about this....
In 10 or 20 years would the Bengals ever consider it?
If the Browns didn't leave in 1995 but instead left in 2015 would they have gone to Columbus?
It's only been in the last decade that Columbus, OH went from being a sleepy "Cowtown" to major growing metropolis. The Capital City has a huge population, big corporations headquarters, major university (very important), greater for young and middle-aged people. I mean it makes so much sense on paper anyway.
-
Columbus and the NFL...Will it happen?
Could it ever happen?
Current population: 822,553
Rank: 15th largest in U.S.
Growth: 500,000 more in next 30 years
If San Antonio is a possible landing site for the Raiders certainly the league has to at least notice Cbus.
Am I right?
There's even a nice stadium they can play in until a new team builds their own...and trust me, there is room for two!

Browns might face NFL's biggest overhaulWhat are we even debating?
Things aren't going to get better.
This franchise is a joke...
-
Browns might face NFL's biggest overhaulSo......your way is to stick with guys that are totally inept in their jobs. Check.
That's like arguing if the chicken or the egg came first. How do we even know about these guys when the Browns never give them a chance to develop.
-
Browns might face NFL's biggest overhaulIn a nutshell this article explains why the Browns will never win...until it stops hitting the RESET BUTTON every other year.

This clip from Mike & Mike on ESPN says it perfectly -----> http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=14311216
This state the Browns have been in since 1999 is not a player issue, IT"S THE WHOLE DAMN FRANCHISE. Three different owners who weren't equipped enough to manage a Burger King, 7 different GMs, 8 Head Coaches, 24 starting quarterbacks....Dear God!!!
And people wonder why we can't get to .500, why we can't beat Pittsburgh. Newsflash: the Steelers are worlds apart on how to run a successful sports franchise, so are Baltimore and Cincinnati.
So when people ask when will things start changing for the Browns my response is...When things stop changing with the Browns (i.e. consistency)

Didn't see this bearded fuck in your analysis, did he retire?
Safe to say they haven't made up the three TDs they lost to us by last time we played.
Zombo
Our quadrennial, haphazard loss to the Browns. Coinciding with the frequency of the World Cup.

Ohio: The bandwagon stateGo look at the thread on Schizophrenic cities.....it deals exactly with this subject. This issue may not seem important to us in the heart of Browns country or in the heart of Steeler country.....but it seems an issue for the folks in those parts.
To PA it may be no big thing whether Harrisburg is Steeler or Eagle backers....as it is such a small market compared to Philly and Pitt. But Columbus is a different deal in this state as though the entire market still is 3rd behind Cleve/Cinci...it is not that far behind. So it is a big segment of the state.
To NFL teams the important thing of course is money. Can the Browns outtrump the Bengals for the Columbus NFL dollar? That is what these team execs worry about. It may not be as big as Can the Steelers outtrump the Eagles for the Harrisburg dollar? Just not as many dollars at stake.
Exactly! I've lived in Columbus, OH for two years and there are a few things to keep in mind:
1. Columbus isn't like most state capitals, it's a huge city with a lot of hearts and minds for an NFL team to capture.
2. Just like myself, a huge portion of the city is a transient population. This is a growing city with people moving from all over the Midwest and Northeast. I can personally verify this after my very first night in this city!

My Jersey Jinx: Is It Real or Imagined? To be fair, buying the jersey of a new player immediately before he's had a change to play for a season is not a wise idea for any fanbase. It doesn't matter if you're a Browns fan or a freakin' Patriots fan!
Granted there are some rare exceptions but even the most promising players have to be judged for an appropriate amount of time before their jerseys are bought.
As for the Manziel jersey...well I'm afraid fans are just gonna have to own up to that one.
