I wouldn't put this squarely on the head coach, they do need look into the medical staff that cleared him. They didn't believe in his injury he was complaining about and instead of going out of house to figure out what was ailing him, they just lead or allowed the coaching staff to believe he was faking an injury. That's not a doctor they need around.
This is a bad look for the browns. He said he wasn't feeling right and the coaching staff say they giving him a full workload in a preseason game. Alot of leaked info here to make K'waun look bad. Coaching staff and medical staff need to make this right.

The "offered a full workload" strikes me as odd for the first preseason game. He has shown to be a solid corner at the slot and as fill in for the #2 spot in his last two season. I don't think he is in the Gilbert or Mingo position to show me something to keep you on the roster. If he had any injury, he shouldn't of been at a full workload for a preseason game, he is important to this defense even as the 4th corner.
I'm guessing there is more to the story and it sounds like Hue is following through with the 'crap from you guys won't be tolerated' stuff.
I wonder how much of this stems from K'waun's injury and concussion history. He might of felt ok with playing for a series or two since that's what the 1st team would of played. After getting put on the 2nd team and knowing he would have to play alot more he decided the injury risk was too much for a preseason game. After Haden had that arm injury last year and tried to play through it, ending in a concussion, I don't blame K'waun being iffy about playing injuried.
I hope this all gets worked out. We are going to need K'waun, he played pretty good last year. Even if Haden stays healthy all season, Tramon has lost a step and Jamar Taylor hasn't shown much. Real game action could quickly expose Taylor or Tramon, and K'waun could easily move into a starting spot.
This isn't a situation of Bosa not wanting to play for the chargers or how much they are willing to pay him. It is about the payment of his bonus and how they schedule that payment. The chargers want to spread it out evenly throughout his contract and Bosa wants it all right now.
It might not seem like a huge deal if he takes it or spreads it out but if he gets it all right now he can invest it and grow that 17 million faster. 4 million now at 3% interest (he can make more than this) is 120k. 17 million would get him 510k in interest in the first year.
In the end the chargers will cave more than Bosa to get this done. They won't give up on their 1st round pick over this. They will pay him and go to the next CBA looking to change the scheduling of rookie bonuses.
I wish this team would just stick with 3-4 or 4-3 and have it be a declaration by the ownership. So many wasted picks "retooling" our defense to switch schemes. Phil Taylor and Sheard are just the newest guys to add to that list. It just makes it that much harder to build up a team while constantly using draft picks to replace good players.
I was watching redzone and saw alot of Matt Flynn play today. I feel he is the perfect FA to bring in at QB, he is young, good arm, and just look at the stat line of the detroit/GB game. I think its better to bring him in than use a 1st or 2nd round pick on a QB so we using the draft pick on what we need, weapons on offense and right side of the oline.
the browns should have a pretty good shot since Nate grew up in Shaker Heights.
Delomme is like that guy that insurance refuses to cover because he is just accident prone, they might not all be his fault but its still happens. Delomme make alot of bad decision and alot of them dont get intercepted but a few do and he has interceptions that just really arent his fault but they still happen. Senica Wallace runs the offense alot better and has been taking care of the ball well, if he is healthy he should be the starter. I liked how they used Cribbs in the flash package but if your going to do that a couple plays in a row, why not let him have a helmet with a radio and make jake delomme go off the field and put in someone that can help make plays, not be a liablity to get even more hurt.
