@gafreleets said: colt will be average in this game. cribbs will not return another one on special teams for the rest of the year.....you heard it here first. and if i'm not mistaken (which i might be) isn't dawson out for todays game? just thought i heard that somewhere. Cribbs either hasn't been the same since he dislocated his toes, or it's a result of our shitforbrains ST coordinator

@soju said: And NO ONE wants to say how close I was to predicting the final score? That's because no one cares.

"I believe that we're a better team than the Lions are despite what our record is" It never gets old...LOL

@bringbackbrownie2 said: Yes the packers double teamed Jones a bit because Roddy White had brick hands all night. If the Browns had Jones the same thing would happen since we don't have any other great receivers. So you are proving my point. Jones wouldn't help the Browns out much this year. And Hillis ran for 98 yards and 2 TD's against the Colts which is a bit more than the 52 you are giving him credit for. A far as the draft goes, it doesn't matter if your schedule is easy or hard, the teams with the worst records at the end of the year will have the better draft picks. So Atlanta could easily still be a "bottom 10 team" since they still have to play the saints twice, the bucs 1 more time, Detroit, Tennessee, and Houston. And the Panthers are no pushover either. Atlanta could easily end up with 8 wins or less, giving the Browns a pretty good 1st rounder.. Exactly. Ghoolie is being a dumbass and writing shit I didn't even say. Glad someone can read the post and not make rebuttals on things not said.

I have been tuned into the radio when the show came on a number of times, then I have turned it off as I not only find it to be somewhat racial, but the hosts feeling the need to "diagnose" everything done by management as having an ulterior motive. I find the show very negative...not my "cup of tea". Just my opinion. Mike

I know it sounds weird cuz ive always been a huge browns fan all my life, but I was never a Cavs fan. Maybe because like everybody else I grew up loving MJ. I've followed Melo since his days at Oak Hill and love watching him play. So Im routing for the knicks to fire D'Antonio so we can play some damn defense n contend for a ring. Just love watching every team in the league play to be honest with you, basketballs the most athletic/entertaining sport to watch. I take it your a Cavs fan? Not too much buzz on this site for the NBA tho

All week long the stories have been about Mike Vick going back to Atlanta and today on Sunday NFL Countdown the guys did a segment on the Atlanta fan base n how they feel about Vicks return. I realized after this show and apreciated all of us Browns fans that much more. The Atlanta fan base all week has been calling the radio shows up expressing how they want to see Vick and the Eagles win today. Even the newspapers in Atlanta have had columns talking about how much they love vick and are cheering for them to win. This is absouletly ridiculous. The Browns fans would never do this bullshit and act like this. We are united more than any fanbase around the league. So to those fans talking about "jumping ship" sounds like you should take your talents down to the Dirty South.

I have heard a couple different scenarios, but how would the draft order be determined if there was a full NBA season lockout? Does anybody really know?

Blackmon,Broyles or Alshon Jeffery would all look nice in the brown and orange... Im really hoping we draft Minnifield though he'd be a great brown like his dad.

@bunsofsteel08 said: We are talking the National Football League. And Poll ALL NFL Fans in the Nation and I bet less than 20% would agree with you. But I understand your need to cling to this. It is after all highly Impressive... and I am being serious. But its not on the same level. Being it was 60 yrs ago we are far removed from it all. Perhaps back in the 60s I might have felt differently. But you guys are entitled to your opinion. Most think its nit relevant that's all. And really I am not knocking the Titles. Its an impressive entry into PRO Football. I dont discount them so much as have BIG *`s by them. Well, likewise maybe 20% of today's fans could tell you who the best team of the 1970s were. Steeler fans can probably tell you because that is their team. Browns fans know their team's history because that is their teams. But, most fans don't know jackshit about their NFL history...or AFL history...or AAFC history. But just because some people are uninformed doesn't mean we all have to be uninformed. As far as the "level", the fact is, the AAFC and the NFL of the 40s and 50s indeed WERE on the same level as the NFL of today. They were the top of the top level of professional football.... There were say, in 1948, 18 professional teams operating in a nation of about 150 million people. Today there are 32 professional teams operating in a nation of over 300 million people. I believe Silverback questioned the size of the AAFC. In 1948 it had 8 teams. The NFL had 10 teams. The size of these leagues was appropriate for the size of the nation. At that time you had 1 pro football team for each 8.3 million of population. Today with the 32 team you have 1 pro football team for each 9.3 million of population. To have kept the same ratio per the population the NFL should actually now have about 38 teams.

@jake24 said: Man this guy is just horrible....the worst thing he could have done at the plate in the 9th today and he finds a way to accomplish that....he needs to be benched If you truly are a Tribe fan don't insult our players. It's one thing to say a guy doesn't have it, but to call him a bum is a bit much. He's a high character guy and at times has shown potential. I do agree he hasn't lived up to expectations, but he's won a few games for us. You have to understand that with players like this, you never know. They can turn out to be a guy like Kipnis or Choo...or Valbuena or Phelps. Sometimes prospects pan out and sometimes they don't. As far as Laporta, I'd put him somewhere in the middle. He's better than Valbuena and Phelps, but not as good as Kipnis. Sometimes in a clutch situation he can be a bit too cautious with his hitting, but almost all of his homers have come in the 7-9 innings. He can't really handle the pressure yet, but that's something he'll get used to and hopefully turn out to be the power hitter we all want.
