does anybody here honestley think Berry is a better player then Sean Taylor or Eric Turner out of college?
the biggest reason Berry will be there when we pick is because safties do not go high in the 1st round
those are the only 2 safties to ever be taken in the top 7 picks
people can keep lying to themselfs thinking Berry will be gone before we pick but theres hundreds of facts that prove otherwise
Vandenbosh is a defensive end not a DT. Detroit plays the 4-3 so they need another DT and DE. Detroit wont let any of those two pass them by unless they trade down.
you do know they are going to a 3-4 this year right? just making sure
Detroit is pretty much a lock not to take one of the DT's
i went to a match 2 years ago and saw one of my old HS wrestlers in a state tourny vs a wadsworth kid
well lets just say it was pretty for the wadsworth kid the match only lasted 18 seconds
Fairly wishful thinking. Lets even surmise that the Rams take Bradford and the Lions take Okung. Do you think that Tampa, Washington, KC, and Seattle, those 4 teams are going to pass up on Suh, or McCoy, or Berry?I would hope and pray that you are right, but I don't foresee it
.
no its called realistic thinking
those teams wont draft BPA they draft needs and they have bigger needs then S
KC needs a DT bad as does seattle and Tampa
Tampa also wants to trade down
Washington is the only threat
whatever dude. obiously you've got some type of superiority complex that i really don't care to figure out. must be tough living in a world where everyone is beneath you. thought this was a browns board for browns fans. sure people disagree on here but it's not like you've got to rub peoples' noses in shit when you think you're right. hey i hope we get berry. see you on here the day after the first round. okay bud?buttermilk pancake mix bag in the box before you add water to it.
yawn
its not that i think im right its that i was right and proved it
Hey kid, I realize you're not reading this as it is Monday and you are in school right now, but you really need to clean up your attitude. Granted, this is an online forum and we can't officially beat your a**, but you can be shunned at the very least, and at the most; given a complex that will lead you to jail or a perpetual virginty as well as haunt and emotionally scar you for life if you continue this way. We have seen much stronger and qualified women leave this forum in the past. Stay in your bedroom, continue your infatuation with Megan Fox, tell your mom to get a job, and google your dad's name so that you may find him; and a much needed role model. Above all, keep the attitude off of this board.
oh boy we got an internet tough guy over here
Yeah, you cited Walterfootball, and they have Berry gone. So do most other mocks. Scout's draft muncher has three teams ahead of us taking him. Could Berry fall to us? Sure. Just saying the odds aren't that great of it happening. If you didn't notice, with the exception of Washington (who will take a qb for sure), every team that drafts ahead of us absolutely stunk on defense. Seattle's secondary was pitiful.
and if you didnt notice even in your own post, all those teams stunk on defense which means they are just as likley to pick another spot other then berry
also Walterfootball has us taking Berry in his mock as of yesterday
Detriot was set to take one of the DT's now in the past week they have gotten 2 solid DT's which could very well mean they take Okung as they need help on the OL to fill another need insted of building depth at a diffrent need and it also will stop stafford from laying on his back if Okung pans out which could cause Suh to fall to TB, and McCoy and or Berry to fall around to our pick
as i get off for the night
ive just heard the browns could be in talks with Marlin Jackson
While you may have good arguments, you just ruin it by saying things like "owned".It makes you sound childish and stupid. Don't be such a dick, and you'll find that people here won't want to immediately dismiss everything you say.
good for them i guess they always want to be wrong then
i always look up and re-search my post to make sure they are 100% accurate
nmills said:
did you just make that number up in your head? Id like to see were you got that information. I doubt he played much more that 300 plays all season
no sorry i dont post like you
i actually do my re-search
you do know our D was being on the field for an average of 53 Plays per game right?
and an average of about 57 after the jackson injury
Miava had a 10 game advantage over Jackson in GP so in about 570 plays (a little more)
Miava may not have started the other 7 but he played alot in those last 10
so, where else do players come from other than the draft?even more ironic, why not look up which round DQ was drafted in.....ya know, one of those unknown unproven guys that wasn't a household name in college.
you kill me....lol.
your right he was unknown and unproven just like every other single rookie
by your logic every 2nd round pick is going to workout right? owned
nmills said:
I made it games started because he's a rookie, he barely played until Jackson and Barton went down. Since your such a stat freak look up plays played. Its probably pretty close and we'll have a better understanding
100% wrong
and
Miava has almost 300 more plays played then Jackson
can you still make 1 valid point or a good post? i havent seen it yet
nmills said:
thats not the point, the point is your ILB is usually the one leading the team in tackles. Just because you rack up alot of tackles doesn't mean your irreplaceableMaiva had 45 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 16 games played last year
Jackson had 59 tackles with 0 sacks in 6 games played
Maiva was a rookie he'll get better, plus you have Barton, Fujita, Trusnik, Bowens that can all play inside and we dont no what we have in Veikune.
Im just saying I think its a trade off worth taking. No hole digging JMO you dont have to agree if everybody ageed this place would be pretty boring
yes it was your point or you wouldnt have posted it
there ya go, i had to fix your scewed stats since you appearentley felt the need to just post statst to make miava look better
keep digging that hole deeper and deeper
dig dig dig
can you just make 1 good post?
its not lke our defensive production suffered without jackson.....we actually got better....lets not over-value him....bowens played better outta place.
another second would be a blessing.[/quote]
we were giving up 126 rushing YPG with DJ
without him.............163
all another 2nd does is put an unproven unknown player on the team its not a blessing
sounds like you under-value him and show your clueless
nmills said:
Andra Davis led us in tackles every year to, thats not saying much
*Buzzer Sound*
wrong
he only did it twice in the 7 years he was here
dont go making up lies, your only digging a deeper hole then your already in
oh, lets get rid of the guy that has led our team in tackles for 3 straight years, (not including last year). Some Browns fans just dont get it, I've heard too many assnine statement lately.Maiava?... are you serious?...
Thats a Gigantic drop-off
bu...bu....but we would get an unknown, unproven player with that 2nd round pick
nmills said:
Because I dont think its a significant drop off from Jackson to Barton, Fujita, Maiva. Sure Jackson might be a little better but I'l take a slight dropoff at ILB to pick up a extra 2nd round pick to draft a CB or S. CB's are on a island every play so if there bad you'll get exposed like we have. LB's weaknesses can be hidden in schemes and stunts. JMO
LOL oh boy thanks for the laughs
do the steelers have a great secondary? no they do their damage with their front 7
how about balitmore? Indy? Jets? Eagles?
the Front 7 wins games, not secondary
