I just wanted to interject with this little tid-bit....I was living in St Louis when this happened....

Little received 60 days and 1000 hours of community service. Six years later, after the involuntary manslaughter conviction was wiped from his record, Little was again arrested for drunk driving.

For those of you who did not even see this let me tell you what happened.....After a night of birthday celebration Little was driving his Navigator through downtown St Louis when he struck and killed a mother of 2 who was on her way to pick up her children...Little got out of his car and started yelling.."look what that bitch did to my navigator!" When police arrived on the scene Little was screaming ..."That bitch ran a yellow light!" ....which by all accounts dumbass makes your light RED! Little received what amounts to a slap on the wrist for this...only to be arrested for DUI again in the future.

Now if this were you or me????? We would still be UNDER the jail!...Sometimes it pays to have celebrity status and lots of cash!...Who wants to bet that Stallworth gets a 5 game suspension...30 days in jail....and 1000 hrs community service....????anyone???? Especially since his victim was an immigrant.

Our weak point was getting beat underneath.....Strong, fast, pass rushing, drop back in coverage linebackers is what we need. We also need guys who can take away the long game of the Holmes/Ward combo. Every team has "holes"....Some more than others. Getting rid of mediocre high dollar players is a good start. If we resign McGinnest I'll slit my wrists!

I have to agree on a few points. DA has not improved much on his scouting reports. He is still making the same mistakes he did in school. I also agree that Romeo was not a good head coach. Let me also agree that if BQ cannot beat out DA for the job then he doesn't deserve the chance either. So where does that leave us????

We cannot deny the fact that really bad business decisions were made by the front office. We signed a first round QB then benched him. Then we gave a big contract to a guy who had one good season. This INSTANTLY created the QB controversy that still lingers and will not go away until next season or until one of them is traded. We cannot pretend 2008 didn't happen because it did!

I don't hate DA ( I don't like him much....but don't hate him) and I am also not sold on BQ. I do believe that good business sense tells me to play the guy we drafted to be the "future" of the franchise and let him write his own history. The controversy needs to end either way! It is never healthy to go into camp not knowing who the QB will be.

I say whoever beats Pittsburgh next and ends our miserable losing streak to them be given the keys to the city and be hailed the next "King of Cleveland"!!!!!!!!!

Wow....lots of people like to make assumptions of what a guy "feels" or "doesn't feel". How do we know how he felt after last season? You're making assumptions. ....

The man was targeted 138 times and had 55 catches. That is a 39.9 completion/target rate.

Even if he caught EVERY dropped pass he would only have 71 receptions and a 51.4% completion/target rate. So, even if BE was PERFECT...DA still barely broke a 50% completion rate when throwing to him.

Name me one other TOP RECEIVER that has to put up with that kind of ineptitude.

As a point of fact...Brandon Marshall was second in NUMBER of passes NOT CAUGHT (77 to BE's 83) and had 12 drops and he had 183 Targets...for a completion rate of (104/183) 56.8%...and without his drops 63.4%.

We have way too many other holes on the team to worry about filling a spot vacated by a more than adequate receiver (note: I did not say "great")..We also have to put some of the blame on coaching. Leadership is key to instilling greatness in your players. Crennel did not have that quality!

Rosenhaus is shopping Buress, C. Johnson and Vick...Why don't we sign all 3 of them?...Because they are CANCERS!...We could do worse than BE.....He stays!....Anyone thought about where we will be at RB next season?

Go to as many Casinos as you can and take tons of pictures! You will be amazed at the lavish decors in each and every one of them.

Go to the shops at Ceasers...If anything but to see where rich people shop and look at $80k watches...

DOWNTOWN AT NIGHT IS A MUST SEE!....Go down to Freemont St! They have a great light show!

See a topless show! ....They aren't sleazy and they are what made the "vegas showgirl" famous!

Go to MGM and see the Lions

Ride the Coaster at New York, New York

Go to the top of the Stratosphere..

Go to the top of the Eiffel Tower at the Paris

Besides the fact that the Steelers once again got EVERY call thrown their way....I'd have to make the comment that the Cardinals lost the game themselves in the second quarter......WTF.....a Pass on 1st and goal from the 2?....resulting in a 100yd INT and TD? Thanks for a decent post. It gave some credibility to you "squeeler" fans. I am sorry but I have hated the Steelers from birth and some things will never change. But to stoop so low, as some of the folks who post here so often do, is proof that "no child left behind" did not actually work. Some of the posts here should be reflected with an IQ score in the corner so we could tell which ones to give credibility to.

As far as hating the Ravens....In my opinion....to give them once ounce of misguided hatred would be giving them credibility that they have any affiliation to the Browns! Art (rat fck) Modell may have taken his sorry ass...the front office...and the players to Baltimore but he did not take the Browns! There is only room for 2 teams in order to call it a rivalry. And as one sided as it has been over the last few years it was...and always will be....Browns/Steelers. We may both hate the Ravens and sometimes the easiest way to find a friend is through a common enemy but Pittsburgh will always be our public enemy #1. Unlike the Colts, Cardinals, and Rams our team stayed in Cleveland. We may have had a short hiatus only to return and stink up the joint....But it is still the CLEVELAND BROWNS!

I also give weight to 8yrs of frustration since their return as a cause of some of the more venomous posts.

I would wish you good luck .....but as a true Browns fan I have to root for Cleveland and ANYONE who plays Pittsburgh!

I am glad to see PS gone. I just don't agree with this as being one of his mistakes.

We need a GM and HC who realizes the importance of domination over the Squeelers as being the key to the playoffs. As much as I hate Pittsburgh I have to give them credit for being a good team. Their domination over us is nothing less than a total embarrassment. Besides the fact that they are our most hated rivals (just ahead of the crows) they are also the key to our division.

When the Browns beat the Steelers twice in a season they will go to the playoffs. I am sick and tired of the attitude that we can make a wild card. That is unacceptable. We need to win the division outright and in order to do that we need to dominate the Steelers. It's all about respect.

In another post they are talking about the ESPN article that states how a DELUSIONAL RAC thinks he can come back for another season and "right the ship". ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! Here we are talking about whether or not he even DESERVES to coach his final game and this moron thinks he should come back for another season! After a comment like that I think we need to get rid of his happy ass right now so that there is no confusion in his feeble saturated fat brain! They should have a "coach for a day" contest and let some deserving fan coach the final game against "Squeelers". Another member mentioned how empty the stands were by the second quarter. When the stands are empty BEFORE the start of the game might be when Lerner decides that the Browns have to WIN.....to make money. Why should he care if the seats empty out before the second quarter? They were full at the start of the game and that means that he sold the tickets. He makes no less money if fans leave in disgust. Merchandising, TV revenue, AND ticket sales will all have to suffer before these schmucks get it right!

Most.....Not ALL...of BE's drops were on him. There were some that could have been thrown a little better. Now I am not defending the guy because in order to play at the level required you NEED to catch those balls that could have been thrown "a little better". When we have a new coaching staff next year I am sure that will be one of the issues they address. He just needs to hang in there. As a true fan, I am going to let it go in one ear and out the other where these comments are concerned. Sure these guys are upset and discouraged. They play for a team that consistently sucks year after year. They need to vent. After all....It could be worse. We could have a locker room poison known as "TO" on our team. For all his dropped balls I would still rather have BE than TO.

I would have to agree with the "doomed" feeling and would love to be wrong about us making the playoffs but as someone said in an earlier post.."we have to win those games first". Now if you are talking about our records vs other teams then here are a few matchups.

Against BAL we are 5-11

The Broncos have owned us at 5-16 but thank god we are playing at home.

7-5 against BUF

2-2 against HOU

14-10 against the colts

32-26 over the Titans

31-14 over PHI

33-34 against CIN

and 55-53 over the Squeelers (but I think that's wrong. I think they lead in all time Wins)

I have to agree with the fact the the Broncos have owned us in the past but as long as we don't see any major meltdowns we should be able to handle them at home.
