Trade him to Texas for Clowney. They have Watt, love JF and are worried enough about Clowney's injury to consider it. Pick up a new QB in the draft.

***Official Browns @ Ravens Game Day Thread***"He did a great job - outstanding," left tackle Joe Thomas said. "I don't know if he took one snap with the No. 1 offense until this week. To come into a really difficult place to play against a really good defense, it just shows the type of person he is and that he's a quarterback who belongs in the NFL."
"It wasn't perfect...(But) he far exceeded everybody's expectations."

***Official Browns @ Ravens Game Day Thread***Shaw will blame Shaw for today's loss. Too quick to tuck and run. Defense is too fast for a running QB at this level. Fumble due to jitters. A couple of bad passes under pressure at the end of the game. All will go away with experience. Shaw will make a great backup QB and still has potential to make it as a starter. Spurrier pulled him before halftime in his first start at South Carolina. Shaw never let that happen again.

Prediction for Sundays GamePettine seems to be downplaying expectations. It's Shaw's first game and rooky mistakes are expected but knowing his capabilities I suspect Pettine has a little surprise for the Ravens.

Hoyer hurt? Connor Shaw up?Last game of the season + team suddenly needs a quarterback + NFL career possibly on the line. I suspect Shaw's been dreaming about this opportunity all his life. Shaw will be prepared if he gets the call.

Connor ShawI'm not too sensitive and kiss my ass is as common in Gamecock country as Clemson sucks. I actually thought I was intruding on your board. I'm not a Browns fan yet. We don't get many Browns games down here. We do follow Shaw and would like to see more Browns games if he gets an opportunity to play. The Gamecocks had a similar record to the Browns before we got Shaw, Jefferies, Lattimore and Clowney. Even with Spurrier we basically sucked during his first years at South Carolina and we have started to suck again now that now that those guys are gone. Who knows, maybe the Browns will pull together some similar talent and maybe Shaw will be there to lead them. We hope so.

Connor ShawYou are right bbedward, we have no business posting here and I will let this be my last. I did not intend a Shaw vs Manziel comment. If Shaw has the stuff to make it in the pros, there's a coach somewhere that will give him the chance.

Connor ShawIf you watch the few plays Shaw had during the pre-season game you'll see what we had for four years at South Carolina. When Shaw takes the field he's in charge and the team responds. He's a real leader, his gritty determination brings out the best in other players and he is not short on talent. He may not win every game but neither does Manning or Brady. His time on the field was the most exciting part of that pre-season game and he can bring that to every game he plays for the Cleveland Browns given the chance. We just want to see him play again and you will too.
