Maybe Mangini is clearing cap for Ware

I was at the Akron game on Saturday, Matt Rogers our sophmore QB got injured (torn ACL). Patrick Nicely (True freshman) came in and played pretty decent. He had GREAT footwork, threw a very pretty ball, and really got his teammates rallied up. He even threw a perfect fade into the Endzone that was just out of Draft Prospect Darren Bowsers reach. I can see him being the next big MAC QB. He was the nations top 20th QB recruit (pro style Quarterbacks). Keep an eye, out, I will be watching him this season and giving some updates.

Tehy have played those games without their star runningback to set up the passing game EJ, Now that the Bruiser is back and ready to punish, I think they are going to be a very formidable opponent. Their strengths are also our weaknesses. We have trouble getting set on D, and our defensive stamina is also awful. With Lynch coming in, we have something to worry about, ESPECIALLY since he mauled us last year, if he doesnt repeat the performance, then we have improved. They also have that no huddle offense that can quite possibly really wear us out. We kept Trent Edwards under control and picked him 3 times last year, I dont know if we can do much better than that. But he is alot better this year, he had a bad game last week, last year afterhaving that bad game against us, he went on to throw for 283yds and 2 td's. This is definitely a benchmark game

Harrison wasnt a late round pick, I believe he was an early third rounder, he had more yards than reggie bush his senior year, and HE CAN RUN UP THE MIDDLE, sad to say I agree with Lumbergh on this one. Harrison can also break tackles. Just because he doesnt run directly into the chest of linebackers and linemen doesnt mean he can run on the inside, he has a quick first step, hits the hole and uses agility between the tackles

Relatively I think Quinn played well, he did not make any horrendous decision. We cant ask him to launch the ball down field right now. Turnovers will be the end of us look at last year. The fumbles and one int are not acceptable. BTW look at Quinns numbers they dont look that bad, look at what Sanchez put up looks kinda familiar when everyone is praising his actions. Quinn played smart just nothin spectacular. I look forward to Quinn getting more snaps and more attempts.

The first two preseason games will sort this out. The winner will be declared and start game 3 of preseason. Let's just hope the real QB's show up.. however good or bad in the first 2 games to allow the coaches to make the right call. whatever that may be..I trust the coach on this one. I have been reading those twitters on a ton of team pages.. Trust me the word interception is one of the most used words.. and not just in cleveburg.

No way Favre plays in Cleveland, but I wouldn't be shocked to see him hang around the Browns (or another team) to "help out" their young QBs. And I still half-expect him to sign with another team about halfway through the year when someone gets hurt. Two thoughts on that: 1. Staying around a team keeps people interested in him, and Favre gets off on attention. 2. He stays in shape, but he doesn't want to go through the grind of preparing for an NFL season. That means he shows up late, plays gangbusters in the first half of the year, and goes to crap in the second half because his body falls apart. Starting in week eight might alleviate that for him. If he does sign halfway through the year, I hope that the whole "800 straight games started" doesn't carry over. Just because you're technically retired doesn't stop games, and you don't get to have people call you the ironman of the NFL if you take half a year off. Dennis

What I think Personally, Im gonna go with Alex Hall, he was one of savages late round picks, but he might be a star in the making, he is even said to impress Mangini, not to mention racking up 3 sacks last year without hardly any playing time. Bowens and Mangini are good buddies, just look up david bowens ongoogle image search and you will see numerous pics of him with mangini, but I think Mangini is going to play the better player, and Alex Hall can only get better, wheras bowens is on the back 9 if you know what I mean.
