Who did we get for our other 5th rounder? We had 4 when the day started.
Parker Brailsford (C) and Justin Jefferson (LB). Both out of Alabama

Here is your Corey Coleman...drop city
If would fit our style speed and suspect hands Coleman, Schwartz, insert all the other JAGS over the the past century
??? Lemon has a total of 3 over his last two seasons in college
That’s the thing, he seems to think he could play and this was actually some weird punishment or something?
I had not seen that part. Of course he could have felt he could play through it, and cle at that point of the season wanting going let's play our depth. As well as likely wanting to protect themselves if there were any injury clauses in his contract which could guarantee his 2026 salary.
In either case none of it impacted his FA stock. His tape for the last two years will have more to day on his next contract that how hurt or not hurt he was the last few weeks of 2025.
The whole sitting him down for games during the season and pretty much lying about why they did it thing.
His calf injury that he got around week 13, had him miss games, come back, then started bothering him so his snap count got reduced in games, then was put on IR before week 18?
The Browns did Teller dirty last season. He deserved better.
How did they do him dirty?
Cincy had an OL in worse shape than N.E. along with a front office that struggled to fill talent gaps.
You're right, nothing is guaranteed. But if the Pats keep doing what they've been doing the last few years, then they will at least be in position to have deep playoff runs.
Cincy has had flash-in-the-pan success since the early days of Andy Dalton.
Fully agree that in actuality the situation have important differences.
You are spot on with the main point. Nothing is guaranteed. We have all seen teams quickly go from looking like perennial contender as the SB loser to not coming close to sniffing again.
The Pats have a bright future with a long window of being contenders open again. At least, it appears that way. Now it's on them to fix the left side of the OL (Campbell to guard?) and to make sure the skill positions are able to contend with top-tier defensive talent.
Not like we would know, but it isn't easy losing a SuperBowl. N.E. can take solace in the fact that they're built to take runs at repeat appearances.
Counter would be Cincy thought the same a few years ago....
No, Bubba was the Assistant HC.
You would be correct sir. Ventron while in CLE from 2023 through year held the titles Assistant Head Coach and Special Teams Coordinator. They had to do that in order to hire him away from IND when he was under contract as Special Teams Coordinator. He is now just Special teams Coordinator for the Rams
Schwartz is under contract for 2026. What that would all really mean for what he could or could not do in 2026 would come down to those type of details in his contract.
And remember... Todd Monken was the guy screaming at coaches on the field how the team was a mess before games back in 19 when he was a postion coach here... I find this highly comical...
He was technically the OC in 2019. Though Kitchens was the play caller, and by some reports dictating the O (ie Monken was OC in title only).
Was it DEI when Mac Jones was made pro bowl alternate?
I guess this would imply Huntley was a DEI.
What this tells you is
a) pro bowl is essentially meaningless award
b) the vast majority of people dont know how alternate works at this point. Lawrence was already an alternate, so this means he declined
YIKES a back up to Jones ? really ? hell i would start Cousins over jones in a heartbeat and I am sure he would start for The Browns, of course I could be wrong about The Browns guess it depends on who they hire
Jones was playing really well until his injury. As was Indy.
Similar to Darnold, I am not buying Jones.
you do not think he may like to play more ? I mean tv will all ways be there. I believe he has some left in the tank and that Indy may be a good spot for him.
Anything is possible. I am 99% sure if he were to play next year it won't be in ATL. But if he played he would go where he can be the starter. Current indications are IND plans to resign Jones and he would be back next year. I don't think Cousins would sign up for temporary starter.
Apparently Stefanski's the front runner for the Falcons job. Not a bad spot where he's reunited with Cousins and you can win the division sub .500. Hopefully he trades for Gabriel ?.
Cousins contract was just reworked such that they will be releasing him in March. Also looking like he might be getting Matt Ryan's TV gig
It is what it is. No real complaints except we kept the weasel. Berry is a weasel.
When he backed out of the bye week PC as has been held, he pushed everything over to Kevin and hid like a weasel.
Hell, he even looks like a weasel with his beady eyes. In the old days, a farmer would just trap him to protect his chicken coop, then club and skin him.
So now we get Shedufus and Berry. What a wonderful team.
You mean when he chose not to do the press conference he is not required to do and no other GM in the NFL does....
