Hahaha @ darkside5.
If your analysis was correct then Tebow (2.5 million+ Twit followers and bonafide jersey seller/crowd gatherer/great college stats)compares rather well to Manziel (1 million Twit followers).

Grossman and Shaw are slated to get some time. I sure would like to see some sharp QB play.
No doubt Osiris!!! Z wins the prize.
@POG
It shouldn't escape you that a film maker can make a genius look like he has shit for brains. Letting Knocks in the door this year could set the Browns back years depending on the choices of what may be a non Brown fan. Knocks made the Jets look like the joke they are, with Pettine being the exception.
I'm with Pettine and the NFL on this one...first year HCs can opt out. There is good reason for that option and it has nothing to do with manning up. It has to do with giving a new HC a chance to set his style before an outside filmmaker gets a chance to take shots at him.
You just want a wannabe (Manziel) to get some face time. Your boy with get his time in the sun. So far Hoyer is out shinning him according to today's tweets from camp, btw.
The Browns' FO has already redone the Browns' website promising to post more vids and pics. If they do a really good job then the Browns' website will be almost as good as Knocks...just not in documentary form.
So far I'm getting a good taste for all things Browns at the site and OTAs just ended. Going from game to game should be killer.
Fuck Knocks. The Browns can do a better job documenting their team if it's done correctly.
Fwiw, the Jets' Knocks showed Wrecks for what he is...a loudmouth with no butt in his drawers.
Whoever selected an unknown and un HC proven quantity like Pettine got lucky regardless of their rational. The Banner spin is by Banner and Banner would predictably take credit for all things going correct for the Browns if he possibly could. The fact remains Banner is out the door. If his expertise was so solid then why doesn't he still work for the Browns.
Pettine is/was a sleeper. Everyone was giving Ryan credit for Pettine's coaching. I believe the reason there was a Revis Island is because of Pettine and his defense schemes.
The Browns lucked into Pettine...just like Wrecks Ryan.
I guess Percy Harvin is too short too. Hahaha
So they should pay less money and they'd be a better employer? Assuming your point is that anyone that's given millions of dollars is automatically going to go out and take every drug there is to take which is, well, a little bogus.
Get real. I'm not saying any thing like what you suggest. I'm saying that some employers are more interested in making as much money as possible without a reasonable regard to their employees' health.
Without 'The Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938', you may have had to work in a sweat shop at the age of 12 for 12+ hours a day and for six months to get that Manziel jersey.
I'm just sayin', you've got to watch out for overly greedy employers and that there is a lot an employer can do to be fair to their employees. Giving them injury masking drugs so the employee can perform is NOT a good long range strategy...for the employer or the employee.
Yeah right, the NFL is a quality employer.
It's like;
Here, I have millions of bucks for you and all you have to do is take pain killers and play football on Sundays. Btw, when you crash and burn can I have your tennis shoes? Oh yeah, and when you're so broken up you can't get bucks any longer, take this quarter and call someone that gives a shit.

I'd rather a JFF fan who will cheer for the Browns, than an old, pathetic group of bitches who will root against him (and the Browns in the process) just because they can't accept being wrong.
Some of you guys act like you're 13 years old, have actual convictions about your shitty media-fed football opinions, and are ego maniacs above all else, including Browns fans.
Fossils like Hoorta and Tour will lie, and claim neutral at times because they realize theye wrong, but they let the venom show plenty.
Mik is just an alcohol-fueled parrot of other people's bad opinions. Not as bad as the former guys, because he actually makes jokes when he's on a weekend bender. If you're going to devote so much time here, at least Mik is funny.
Gipper and Zombo are like the last two reasons to even come here (of the regulars, there are plenty of good casual posters who get drowned out by assholes). TCPO also fucks bitches with written words from time to time. He even knows football, which escapes plenty here.
But they aren't enough.
After vacation, I read through a lot of these posts and none are even worth a reply.. from a football standpoint, this place has gone completely to shit.
I think it's crazy how much time some people spend here, one of the worst collections of football dialogues I've ever read.
Be proud, because this place used to be fun until the dumbest voices became the loudest.
Good luck, go Browns.
Hahaha, from a paid Bleacher Report articles author. BR should be called the Bleacher Examiner. Many of their authors act like a bunch of bitchy little girls that think they have all the answers.
Hahaha Z. Yep, the 143rd Texas A&M fan is as memorable as the 69th or the 96th one.
Mallet ain't got it Tox. The Pats preseason games last year showed it.
Why call it an infatuation with Foles? I don't think Pettine and the boys are infatuated with anyone. It's more like, keep the one you are at the dance with and be a good lead so they dance well enough not to stink. No one is acting like Foles is the key to paradise except maybe those that want Johnny Football to be the dancer.
Exactly Tox. All the sports gurus (cough cough) are writing Hoyer off without even seeing what good coaches can do with him. I would argue that if Brady wasn't coached by the Belichick bunch that he wouldn't be HOF ready. It ain't like he can do anything but throw strikes. We saw what a well rounded NFL team does to a NFL team that has a QB that throws strikes in the recent SB.
How Pick 4 goes well: Just my humble but accurate opinion lol.
A. Sammy Watkins: He's as close to a sure thing as there is in this draft. Really doubt he'll be there at 4 though, home run if he is.
B. JohnnyM: Shocks me how many people can't stand this QB. All he did was DOMINATE the best conference in the country (Yeah I'm an OSU fan too, but your being intellectually dishonest if you wanna argue the SEC hasn't been the strongest conference for a decade, Especially the West.) I mean, yeah, he could be bust. You want a sure thing at QB? Wait another 20 years for another Andrew Luck.
C. JC! NO WAY HE DROPS TO 4.....
How Pick 4 doesnt go well:
1. OL: There's three sick OT's in the draft, but you don't take a RT at NO.4! You just don't.
2. Mack: Great looking linebacker, but unless he's planning to play both ways, he doesn't fix the biggest problem. POINTS.
3. Carr: Christian Ponder level reach.
4. Bortles: Also a reach, smaller reach, but still a reach. You could trade back with someone who wants Mack to get him.
GO BROWNS!
Well, Tebow lite up the SEC to higher record proportions, for more years, helped his team win a NFL playoff game and we know how that turned out. He's a NFL pariah
Just because Mr. Football lite up the SEC don't mean shit. Just like Tebow, Johnney had a good supporting cast too.
You've got that right C Mike. Farmer gives that same view about rumors in his current presser.
It seems to escape some people that QBs are only as good as their coaches with rare exceptions (Denver: Fox sucks and Peyton is better than I like to admit).
Hoyer doesn't have any coaching weaknesses.
Monkey dust is my name of endearment for coke
Ludes and monkey dust for a trail of disaster. A Chevy 714 become a work of art (for Ripley's). It sure was fun tho. I'm tellin' my age right?
Hoge has credibility? He's a poser and has been for years.
